Random thought: People sometimes talk about Daisy not knowing Jake is a bully at the beginning of the season like it’s a plothole or a mistake, but honestly I’ve never had much of a problem with it? I can see where they’re coming from, but I think it actually enhances Daisy’s character more than ruins it.

I mean, to start, it’s not totally unbelievable that she wouldn’t know about Jake being a bully. Milly and Sean also don’t know Jake is one of the people bullying Hailey and Zander in episode one, and they’re way closer to Hailey and Zander than Daisy is. So I can believe that in-universe Hailey and Zander just haven’t told her about it.

Especially with how Daisy is meant to be portrayed as constantly busy and doing ten things at once, to the point that she doesn’t have the time to form many close relationships. Her not knowing anything beyond surface level about Jake makes sense when you consider that them not actually being close and Jake also not knowing anything about her is a very big aspect and purposeful flaw of their relationship.

Daisy not knowing about the bullying isn’t a plothole, it is actively part of how she is characterized as friendly with everyone, but not having the time or feeling secure enough to actually get close to anyone she talks to (besides maybe Sadie). She’s friendly with the club and wants to see them succeed, and she’s able to make time to occasionally sit in on their practices, but she isn’t actually friends with any of them until Sean sees her crying. She doesn’t actually know anything about them or their personal lives. I bet she’s friendly with a bunch of the other clubs, too, and tries to make sure everything runs smoothly as part of her Head Girl duties.

Daisy doesn’t know about Jake’s less desirable qualities because they’re not friends. She doesn’t know about the bullying because her and the Music Club aren’t friends. She’s only finally able to get involved in the main plot and figure out part of what’s going on after she does get a close friend in the form of Sean, who lets her into the loop. She’s not purposely neglectful of the club or Jake and I don’t think her not knowing about the bullying accidentally indicates that she is. It just characterizes her as distant and a little performative, but that’s kind of the point of her character.

So anyways yeah I don’t think her not knowing about the bullying was a mistake or a plothole, and it actually makes totally sense with how she’s characterized. You could argue it makes her feel flawed, but that’s not on accident. Personally I feel this specific aspect of the writing is actually well-done for the most part. It’s just too bad it keeps Daisy from being super involved in the plot for a little bit.

#idk I haven’t rewatched the series in a hot minute so hopefully this all makes sense #but I need to uphold Daisy’s honor because I think this part of her character makes complete sense #yes this makes her flawed but that’s not a mistake #I do actually think she’s compelling in this way and it makes me like her more #the music freaks #tmf #tmf daisy #daisy tmf #yes a rare not-Liam-related post I can’t believe it either

The girls!!! I had problem with Saide and what her fashion style would be so i gave her one similar to my, i need to explore more opctions with her since her character is one of a few that i can see wearing a more alternitive fashion and the urge to make her a ghot is strong!! (Also i headcanon her as a Romani and Daisy as an albino because i want to)

Also i want to give both Maria and Lia some parts of Zoey's desings as a way to show how much she influence both of them, so Lia has the same shose as Zoey and Maria has the same skirt as her.

Overall i'm pretty happy with this, propably will do something more with Lia and Saide by will see!!
