there's something to say about how chatgpt and ai companies directly seek to monetize people who are lonely/struggling with no recourse, and how they tweak their ai to make it easier for vulnerable people to become dependent on chatbots to then sell and monetize their data, about the surveillance involved—and there are ways to talk about it without sniggering or implying that people with "ai boyfriends" or who use chatgpt or bots as friends/therapy/companionship/aid are some weirdo degenerates who deserved to be taken advantage of and are subhuman in comparison to You, A Well Adjusted Human Being

Yap about Jake and his flaws but flaws as in like what makes his dislikable

I think one of his biggest flaws is him being a coward. And as much as it is understandable looking at his past it also makes him act insufferable sometimes. The whole reason why the audio situation existed was because Jake was too scared to admit that he likes the club and decided to double down on that by bringing out Haliey's trauma and talking down on the club. Even tho he has a lot of resentment towards Drew he is not brave enough to leave him and be honest with him also because of his fear. Personally I like this part of his character, but i can absolutely see why someone could hate that, especially since a lot of main characters are usually the fearless leaders and Jake is far away from that.

Also he doesn't really want to change the way things are with the bullying at the school even tho it was shown that he clearly has an impact on other pepole at school and probably could make it less socially acceptable behavior than it currently is. But he is cares more about his own comfort to question the current structures, he accepts them even tho he and his friends are oppressed because of them. He obviously is privilege but he only really uses this when it serves himself.

And i fell like his writing is a little bit inconsistent, like why he stops acting like an cocky asshole post ep 2 i think? I lowk miss that.

Maxed out predictions... question mark

Tbh i don't have a lot of predictions about them since i don't have a membership and i know close to nothing lol.

I think Max is probably gonna try to recruit Jake to the band, to replace a missing member. Also i think the lost member will be more relevant since it has a lot of potential for some interesting drama (also if one if the Dromies turns out to that member i will crash out).

I hope that Jamie will be the first canon lesbian really bad. And she and Daisy will become girlfriends

Also some interactions between Max and Drew, Damien and Sean since i think they have a potential for an interesting dynamic.

I just hope that they will be more than just a cool and slightly edgy group of kids for Jake and everybody else to admire because they have a lot of potential and i love their vibe so much.
