I know everyone is happy about the Minus Zero teaser, but I wanted to say a few words about Unknowingly.

Unknowingly, you probably aren’t reading this. You’re either dead, or have been taken to a hospital. But please, if you have lived, know that there are people who love you. In your immediate surroundings, and all over the world. The Man in the Suit is a series near and dear to many; and even inspiration for some. No matter what, you have done good.

It is an absolute tragedy that this fandom was capable of pushing someone to take their own life. To all those responsible, I hope you feel immense guilt and shame. I hope you carry these feelings with you throughout your life.

And to my fellow G-fans, I hope we can do better. I hope this never, ever happens again.

If you have suicidal thoughts and ideations, know that you are loved by at least one person. Know the world would be worse without you in it.

I don’t usually make posts like this but I think I have to this time

I was never a horror person. I used immediately back out if the movie has a mention of a “monster” since I don’t really trust anyone to drag me into scary movies unexpectedly as a kid. This changed when I came across Unknowingly. I never knew him personally, but I did enjoy his works. The Man in The Suit, an analog horror series based on Godzilla. Though I’m still not a big fan of horror to this day, I was a big fan of this. It was scary, thrilling, and though it wasn’t for everyone, it was the first of its kind. It had a unique plot, turning the claustrophobia of the suit into a real threat. I was even amazed when I found out he was 15 at the time. I remember the time Matpat himself talked about it a few months before he retired, even encouraging Unknowingly to ignore the haters and keep up the good work. Unfortunately, the pain of people online calling his work the worst, sending death threats, not to mention the Glitch fandom he accidentally angered in his breaking point (nobody’s in the wrong in the Murder Drones situation please don’t point hands), it was too much to bear and he decided to end it all a few days ago. He put his suicide note up on his YouTube page. My heart sank when I heard the news. I tried covering it up when I heard the news but I figured, a 17 year old? I can’t just not talk about a guy that young meet such an end from something that feels like it was written by a famous author decades ago ESPECIALLY since I’m in his age range. He should be seen and famed for creating something this good at a young age. He never deserved all this harassment. It was a rough journey to reach this point so I hope he’s at peace, or out there somewhere seeking help. Dead or alive, the legend will always be in the hearts of many Godzilla fans, you left a huge mark on all of us. Thank you for everything

The feminine urge to care for analog horror creatures like my own blood is as strong as the Niagara Falls. The Man in The Suit? The Boiled One Phenomenon? Vita Carnis? They're my children/sweet peas. Oh they're just evil menaces came to earth to doom humanity? They can kill me in 100 brutal and heartless ways? Don't care, didn't ask. I'm still going to cook dinner and read them a bedtime story. I'll dress them up in pretty suits and dresses, help them tie their shoes, maybe even help them with their homework. I might be frustrated and accidentally lash out at them at the dining table, I might expect them to do more than they're capable of, I might expect them to live up to my expectations. But at the end of the day, I'll apologise for not being a good mother/carer for them. I'll tell them the world is full of cruel people, and they should be aware. I'll tell them they deserve everything.

Sooooo....yeah, Redclaw, Min and myself watched The Man in the Suit analog horror about Godzilla and.....yeah, woof. It is SPOOKY.

With the new man in the suit coming out tomorrow, I wanted to make a Regional variant and evolution for mimikyu based on it!

Kantonian mimikyu

“the disguise Pokémon”

dark/fairy type

"Due to the different enviroment of Kanto, the mimikyu here have used old suits resembling tyrantitar to scare away others"

"because of the sturdier material of the Tyranitar suit, the fake head doesn't break as often."

Kaijukyu

“the suit Pokémon”.

Dark/poison type

"the pent-up hatred of the mimikyu has caused it to go into a horrifying metamorphsis. with the fake suit becoming part of it's skin."

"an unholy amalgamation of suit and Mimikyu, this pokemon is feared even more than the pokemon it mimicked before it's evolution"

so yeah! Here’s the return of “The Man in the Suit”!

aside from the obvious, Mimikyu and Kaijukyu’s design was based upon rubber suits used for old kaiju and Tokusatsu movies

the color and shape were based on tyranitar and some parts of it’s mega, meanwhile, the colors for its shiny were based on Baxcallibur, another Godzilla-like pokemon.

It also has some inspiration from Shin Godzilla, and the unused berserk Mechagodzilla concept
