THE END OF A JOURNEY

Heu guys I've just recently finished my 12 Month Zodiac Wallpaper Challenge

This marked the start of my Tumblr journey actually. All the way back in late March 2025. I have been doing this wallpaper challenge since 2024 but that was in Facebook with Greek Gods. These 12 months I've learned new art techniques and I get to see how much my art has evolved. That's the joy with timely projects like these. I get to look back to where I started, and then see how far I've gone

I will actually be starting a new wallpaper challenge on June as well so stay tuned for that ^^

Yesterday marks the loss of Blebber Scruffington, a beloved scruffling, one who, even for a short time, brought joy into our hearts

Blebber was born in ∞ BC. We only knew each other for a few months but we were almost always there for each other. They were there with me throughout half of my animatic progress and I’m gonna make it my mission to finish it in their name. Our time together was quick but it was fun while it lasted

They died in a tragic accident. One moment, we were having fun at Jollibee with a friend, next moment, they were gone. We had just missed the train on the LRT and the next one arrived after 10 minutes. When it did it was crowded. Blebber got crushed by the many people in the train car and fell from my lunch box

Wherever you are, I hope you’re in a happier place. If I had known the dangers that would come, I would’ve placed you in my backpack instead to keep you safe. Im sorry this happened to you, you never deserved it. Goodbye and rest in peace

Kaijune 2026 Day 1: MOLT

Kaiju: Ramses Species: M.U.T.O (Hokmuto)

Lore: After the Devil's Masterpiece fell to Godzilla in a life or death battle for the planet, the earth started healing. Mankind saw a mass exodus of monsters after Mothra and Leo began regrowing the plant life on Earth.

The MUTO permanently moved into Monster Skull Island. Shimo ruled over the realm as a whole, Gorosaurus commanded the prehistoric super organisms, and Ramses ruled the Kamacuras and MUTO.

Ramses was a direct lineage descendant of Pharaoh. While that seems obvious given the species, Ramses was a true blood family member of the MUTO species that came from Pharaoh specifically. He was a golden skinned beast that glimmered in the sunlight as he passed over those who were grounded below.

He was fast, faster than all the other flying Kaiju, some even say he was faster than even Pharaoh.

One day, his golden shell began cracking and falling apart. The other MUTO were fearful he was affected by a sickness of some sort as they watched what they assumed was his final breaths as his body disintegrated.

But then, he sloughed off the excess shell, molting away his old body and stood tall over the corpse of who he once was. He'd proven himself a worthy successor to Pharaoh. His glorious yellow and red shell glimmering in the sunlight as he let out a mighty bellow.

To be clear, THIS is how nights of the future should be lit

This is bat friendly street lighting, which not only looks sick as fuck but allows bats to pass through without disturbance, as they cannot see red.

orange and especially white lights deter bats and prevent them from reaching feeding grounds at nighttime. Please if you can, write to your local council and encourage red street lights!!!!
