Wanna talk about something I've been thinking about.
So as I've said a few times I think it'd be pretty cool if Lotus showed up in Rise and became a love interest for Leo and I couldn't help but think of a few ways she could be introduced so here we go:
First she could be a ninja or assassin from a rival clan of the Hamato family and her main objective is to get rid of their clan to bring honor to her family name. Though obviously that doesn't work out because she ends up developing feelings for Leo and he vice versa.
Second she could be a yokai or an ancient one who's been awakened in the present time for nefarious purposes but the boys intervene and end up helping her. After that she ends up joining them and getting to know them and her and Leo get close.
Third (and my personal favorite option) she's a miko, or a priestess. She's the protector of some kind of ancient temple or artifact and her sole mission is to keep them purified and out of evil yokai hands and purify evil spirits. It's during these duties that she runs into the boys and gets close to Leo and thus a romantic relationship blossoms between them.
Hell it can even be platonic if you want it to be I just think that if Rise gets a season three or another movie they could totally work her into the plot if they wanted to. I just want to see her and Mona Lisa in the show omfg please-
