TMNT Mega Bloks SDCC Exclusive. Variant cover. Found at Toys R Us in the TMNT playmates section. I have not seen this variant cover anywhere for sale, till now. Now I have both!
TMNT Mega Construx Dimension X Battle. Best part about this is the inclusion of Captain Mozar. Great. Now someone can lead the other dozen or so Triceratons ive snagged since series 3 boxes have been popping up everywhere. Hopefully this isnt the only Dimension X themed set we get... The name kinda suggests that. Maybe second wave 2k17 will present us with the Fugitoid ship?? Fingers crossed. With Space Donnie and April released already and Space Mikey announced, hopefully the space turtles can be completed within a couple more blind bag releases. This set is OKAY. The micro tank is a fun lil vehicle but it would have been great to get a diff color kraangdroid. Maybe trans purple? Either way, I am glad to have this and excited to put together a rad space display.... Think we will ever see mega construx Utromdroids????
TMNT Mega Construx Nick series! Here is the updated sets as advertised at the back of the Leo Glider Chase instruction book. It appears to be mostly trimmed to the second wave of 2016 releases and the first wave of 2017. Most of these new sets pictured have been unofficially announced or leaked so far. Ive found very little info regarding the smaller sized "sport" sets yet... Checklist updated as well with some first wave figs still on there. Still no recognition for the Shredder Showdown, Chinatown Chase or small individual turtles sets. Wonder what the deal is there?... Also will we see more unannounced sets creep into Dollar Generals or Family Dollars in 2017? Heres hoping! Oh... And ICE CREAM KITTY mini fig!!! Mega Bloks doin it right!

TMNT Mega Construx Baxter Stockman Mutagen Canister... In hand! Way impressed with the detail and quality in this addition to the classic collectors series. This dude didnt disappoint at all. Finally... A premutated Stockman figure from the 87' series. Glad Mega came thru on this one!! Im not sure why i thought the package would be bigger given the size of the figure, but was still surprised by how small it was. Approx the same size as the individual classic turtles packs. Slightly different dimensions given the canister shape blister. The top and bottom of the canister package snap together to form the display base. Same deal as before, pipes, fixtures, hi res character panel, manhole figure base. I was shocked to find out that the wings that came attached to him were cardboard! I was bummed until a lil later on when i discovered a small bag with a set of clear plastic wings, obviously intended to replace the cardboard ones from the package display! I took pictures with both sets of wings. Only gripe is with the extra arms and wings attached, Stockman Fly cannot be mounted on the pipes. No biggie. I plan to get two of each to be able to display both versions on a single base. Worth it. This one is a 10/10. The detail and paint apps are beautiful. Doc and Fly both rule as one! Im sure the rest of this set will surely slay as well. Check out the pictures above!

TMNT Mega Construx Leo Glider Chase! Ah yes! Finally nice to have some of these new sets in hand! My "review" of the set! Another addition to the street build, as pictured above. Not a super exciting installation but another none the less! The Dragon Bike is a sick addition and nice to have in the collection. The Leo figure is another nonsensical variation, but i do dig the black plastron. He also has the "slicing" action button on his shell. The glider wing are unexpectedly gigantic. Hard to display but fun to play with. The pickled pizza is a nice touch. Bebop doesnt disappoint! Fairly good likeness in terms of the mega bloks stylization! He appears to be rocking leg molds i havent seen yet in the TMNT mega line. Nice switch up from the standard, repeat, mutant villan leg molds. All in all Im giving this set a 7/10. Great display addition and a brand new figure w/vehicle as well! Siked for Coney Island Trap set to be released so finally Bebop AND Rocksteady can pal around in my shelf. Thats it for now, but ive got mail on the way so ill be posting a couple other reviews/pictures of new sets this week! So check back here
