I initially didn't like Pulaski because of her treatment of Data but like,,, it's been a while since I've watched TNG and I understand her now because her arguments surrounding robots/androids are the same ones we use about AI today

and I love Data as a character, don't get me wrong. He's probably my favorite character this season (given that Beverly Crusher is MIA) but like,,, 1989 didn't have the progress in AI like we do today so I feel like her opinions at the start of the season aren't all that unreasonable now

Idk I think she's so much more understandable now that I've seen how reliant people are on AI but maybe that's just me

Though, Data's journey and obstacles surrounding humanity and emotion are so complicated, that it feels wrong to compare him to AI

Say what you will about TNG s1 and s2, but I will still rewatch select episodes explicitly for Data and Geordi interacting and by interacting I do in fact mean being boyfriends.

You're gonna sit here and tell me that s1 and s2 meant NOTHING when we got Data and his Sherlock special interest?? His little outfits???? the fact that Geordi is so completely on Datas side???????
