Met my reading goal this year :3
150 books because I am try-hard (dw like 50 are manga/graphic novels) Anyway! Fave books of 2025 :0
Korelov - James Harford.
Book all about Korelov the soviet engineer responsible for a lot of the soviet rocketry around the space race. REALLY good and detailed accounts given the limitations of information from that time
My Friends- Fredrik Backman.
I have never read a book of his that I didn't rate 5 stars tbh. Heartbreaking, honest, harrowing, REALLY good :P
The Dogs of Winter - Bobbie Pyron.
Re-read from when I was a kid, so fucking good. About a young russian boy who is abandoned and links up with a pack of wolves who cares for him and vise versa. Devastating ending
The Woods all Black - Lee Mandelo.
Trans queer small-town horror yesssssssss PLEASE. I ate this up very good.
Undoing Drugs - Maia Szalavitz.
REALLY good non-fiction on the history of harm reduction and how it came about and the challenges it still faces.
Supernova Era - Cixin Liu.
Solar event causes children to inherit the world, featuring kids with access to nuclear bombs and supply lines. Really interesting.
