Israel is literally a member of the EBU. All EBU members are allowed to participate in Eurovision. Guess whom else are EBU members? Morocco. Jordan. Egypt. Algeria. Just for starters.

Guess why they won’t participate in Eurovision? Oh, too queer, too open for women, doesn’t abide by certain religious laws…

And why was Russia banned for the moment from Eurovision? It wasn’t for a likely genocide (the ICC’s words btw, not mine) against Ukrainians, that’s for sure.

And Azerbaijan is allowed to participate? Despite ~all that~?
