I'm checking through Animedia June 2022 issue's pages regarding Wataru's VA's interview and what little tidbits it has on each Masters 8, as it seems to have something to say of each of them.

How do you like having a Brittany so far? What’s different about Mav compared to Marlo? I really like Brittany’s but have never met one so bestow your bird dog knowledge upon me!!! 🤠

I adore having Maverick specifically. I don’t live near any of his littermates or parents (or any other spaniels) so I can’t compare him to other brittanies. I will point you towards @thebrittanybrigade because they have a lot more experience with brittanies specifically!

I love Marlo and Mav both so much, but Mav and Marlo are extremely different in pretty well every single aspect. Marlo is reserved, Mav is in-your-face with his love. Marlo will shiv you for food, Mav is pretty meh about it if there’s other stuff going on. Marlo checks out when she feels she’s done working while Mav will work until he falls over if you ask him to. If there are any particular aspects you’re wondering about specifically, let me know and I can elaborate on those!

Some things I will point out that are A++ (specific to Mav and maybe not brittany spaniels in general) but that are different or opposite of Marlo:

Mav is the most confident dog I have ever met

Mav is not soft (temperament) and can recover after being startled

Mav is super smart with things I intended to teach him and things I didn’t (he can open the fridge door now, cool)

Mav has endless energy when we are out doing something, but will settle well in the car or house

Mav was relatively easy to housetrain and understands clear boundaries very well (ex: no bully sticks on the human bed)

Other traits I noticed about Mav that aren’t A++ (that I either didn’t notice with Marlo or that only happen when Marlo is overstimulated/upset):

Mav will sniff every single pebble on the street thoroughly if I let him. You will never get around the block if you try to teach LLW by letting your dog choose to stop pulling you (luckily LLW is not a priority for me)

Mav will lick pee and chatter his teeth if allowed (100% not allowed, and also I’m hoping this passes as he grows up)

Mav has minor separation anxiety if I leave with Marlo and he has to stay home. We’ve been working on it since day 1 and it’s extremely minor but something to watch out for (I think that’s a breed trait iirc)

Mav does bark constantly. He barks at people, at cars, at suspicious trash, at Marlo, at me, at his toys, at himself, in his sleep. He likes to hear himself (but he understands that he has to bark quietly so it doesn’t bother me or my neighbours anymore)

Mav wants to say hello to everyone. He has phenomenal impulse control but it goes out the window when he sees another person (or god forbid another dog) - he is a wild untamed thing when he wants to say hi to people. We are working on it because that is probably the biggest issue I have with him right now. 

All in all I don’t have enough experience to say which traits are Mav specifically, which are brittanies as a breed, and which are puppy traits that he will grow out of. Bottom line though, I love Maverick and would definitely consider getting another brittany one day.
