all of a sudden, Jon felt awkward about going in. sure, Sansa had been polite enough and even opened the door herself, when she might have as well shut it again on his face. and it wasn’t his first time there at all, many a time he’d shared the room with Arya when the two of them talked of their own world where none other of the Stark children seemed to fit. yet, his times alone in a same division with Sansa could be counted on the fingers of a hand, and he wouldn’t even need them all.
‘ nothing... i hurt myself sparring with Robb. the shield fell on my hand. ‘
again, it was kind of her to ask, so he caught himself answering with more information than first intended. Sansa was all for heroes in the songs, certainly she would not be impressed by a bastard unskilled enough to take damage from his own shield. still holding his hand to his chest, Jon ventured inside the room and took a quick glance around.
‘ maester Luwin said the liquid is pink and thick. ‘ no bottle or flask was in sight, however, be it pink or any other color of the rainbow. maybe Arya had taken it with her? maybe she’d used the last of it and tossed the container away? or it could be hidden somewhere -- knowing his little sister, he wouldn’t be surprised if she placed it somewhere Sansa could not find, in order to avoid her telling septa Mordane of how Arya was going about doing un-lady stuff again.
‘ do you mind if i look over her things? i’ll tell her later that i did it. ‘
