Romans 12:1 (NCV) - So brothers and sisters, since God has shown us great mercy, I beg you to offer your lives as a living sacrifice to Him. Your offering must be only for God and pleasing to Him, which is the spiritual way for you to worship.
Rejection doesn’t mean you aren’t good enough; it means the other person failed to notice what you have to offer.
ASDFGHJKL DUDE YOUR TAGS THANK YOU AAAHHH ;o;
AHHH SENPAI HAS NOTICED ME! Really though in all seriousness - your blog is a godsend, much love <3<3
How do you guardians feel about fallen guardians? Especially fallen guardians of the same class?
(If they were alive for it, do they hold any grudges for Twilight Gap and Mare Imbrium? Do they still hold those grudges? If not, what made them change their mind?)
Have any of your Hunters ever worn the Vermilion Stripe?
I think all of them - except omen, who has Weird and slightly atypical ideas about being a lightbearer - would be at least a little weird about it. they've all fought many eliksni before and have the kneejerk "that's a potential threat" reaction but... especially once the house of light makes itself known, it's clear that many never wanted to be threats in the first place. becoming a guardian is a natural extension of that. if they're people, then of course they can be chosen by the light
oni would be the most chill about it - she spent some time hanging around the reef and the tangled shore after the red war, and probably met and worked with some eliksni. plus she has a whole lot less reverence for being a guardian than most, so an eliksni becoming one is surprising but. who's to say how that works??? not her! this also means eliksni hunter fashion can be added to the hunter fashion contests and she's really excited for that
amita and omen are academically interested, amita far more so than omen. once it's clear they use the light as any guardian does... well, in amita's eyes, that makes them as surely a guardian as anyone else. they are all light in motion, after all. they will get into long theory talks with warlocks and splicers
kostya would have the hardest time with it. he traveled to the city during the early city age, and witnessed a lot of raids by eliksni and humans alike. he did participate in most of the major battles to some degree (idk how much he did yet. sorry kostya) and while he wouldn't characterize it as a grudge... it 100% is. once he's classified something as an enemy it is very hard to work back from that. but of course nothing will ever happen to make him also appear difficult to trust and a potential threat to others, right?
as for the vermilion stripe... oni wanted to wear it after hearing of cayde's death, but also. was openly retired then, and didn't want to be a guardian anyways, and overthought and felt guilty about considering it in the first place and never got around to it
Me when someone slightly taller than me tells me it’s gonna be alright with a head kiss
It hasn’t happened yet but this would be me if it did

LEGO fun in the Jackal household!

And a gift from my parents, who’d bought an extra footed bowl from the Met years and years ago when the museum store still sold them. How’d they know I’d been off-and-on looking for one?
