i finished the first chapter of my steddie home fic (the working title of which now is ‘to build a home’)!!! so here, have a lil snippet, to celebrate :)
“Not Grease!” Robin cries, throwing an M&M at Steve. It bounces off his forehead. “Not again.”
“It’s a good movie! It’s fun!” Steve defends, and Eddie can’t help but laugh at the affronted look on his face.
“We have watched that goddamn movie twelve times already. Something else, just this once.” Robin frowns at Steve.
Steve sigs. “Fine. Eddie can pick. It’s his first movie night and he just graduated.”
Everyone seems to agree, as all eyes turn to Eddie, who panics al little bit, and then, because he knows the reaction it will get, says. “I actually really want to watch Grease, now.”
Robin’s yelling, and Steve is cheering, and Jonathon and Argyle are laughing so hard Argyle accidentally snorts beer up his nose, making them laugh even harder, and Nancy watches it from a distance with a fond smile on her face.
Eddie’s not a big fan of Grease, if he’s honest. But Steve looks elated and Eddie’s come to the realization that he really likes it when Steve is happy.
