Resident Evil Welcome To Raccon City Review by someone who has a little knowlege of the RE games but loves campy fun movies

Is it accurate to the games it’s based off of?? not terribly Was it fun to watch?? Absolutely The main female characters weren’t over sexualized and were extremely competent. I’m def no fancy media literacy person but I would def call it a feminist movie in the sense that the female characters were just.... characters. They weren’t Strong Female Characters or sexualized plot devices. They were people who were going through some shit.  (also Avan Jogia as Leon was wonderful. He was simply Confused 90% of the time and then he got to shoot a rocket launcher. Love that for him.)

Dates I would love to go on

Ice skating in a small outdoor skating rink with Christmas lights and hot cocoa

Going to the museum on a rainy day and kissing in the gems and minerals exhibits

Paddle boating on the lake and throwing pellets to the ducks

Riding bikes down to the park and having a picnic with cupcakes

Finding a small bookstore and browsing through all the books

Marathoning Harry Potter/Lord of the Rings while curled up on the couch

Going on a hike to see the leaves change color and pick out the best rocks

Going to a painting class and laughing at each other's paintings

Going to an amusement park and going on all the scariest rides and sharing ice cream

Going through a corn maze and and going on a hay ride and eating caramel and picking out a pumpkin to carve together

Horseback riding in the mountains and stopping at a stream to splash around and laugh the day away

ughm yeah, now it is. Broke it off with the guy i’ve been seeing.

like i now he was into me, but idk man, i wasn’t to him as much? and i’m also a nervous fucking wreck when it comes to intimacy so i just felt bad whenever i was around him cuz i fucking felt like i was letting him down

(he’s told me the opposite of all these things, but idk, i just felt the dread whenever we were going to meet so ehhhh)
