Throwback Thursday to my last trip to Mexico, a year ago, where I went to paint some pieces for @pacha_moma Art Museum in Irapuato. The director of that museum @fernandobarba is also a shaman who’s learned under the “Seri” tribe of the Sonora desert, so he offered me their toad medicine, “Bufo Alvarious”. This ended being the most intense experience of my whole life, since the 5-meo-DMT is 4 times stronger than “normal” dmt. The inicial session might of only lasted 20 minutes, but it was an absolute disintegration (or explosion) of my being, like a ego death experience, which allowed me to become everything, in the white light body of infinity. It was an amazing activation, but also a terrifying one for my mind and shocking to my nervous system. This brought up panic attacks that first sleepless night and all my biggest fears came to the surface at once, which was a very hard time for me... Luckily I made it through the process, with help of my healer community and then started having these incredibly interesting and potent visits at night, for over a week after and then randomly for months after. I learned much in those sessions from those interdimentional energy entities, even if my mind still can’t fully understand what it was all about. I don’t think I could do this kind of medicine again, it’s too aggressive for my personal (sensitive) composition, but I’m grateful for the expansion it gave me. As a vegetarian, I feel like working with plant medicines (as opposed to animal ones) is more my vibe, even though I got to say I’ve been able to go deeper in my Ayahuasca journeys ever since then. Anyways, here some art that came from all that, done for the @pacha_moma Museum, which just changed locations in Irapuato.
