1968 Rickenbacker 381/330 Prototype Fireglo

There aren't too many true "one of a kind" guitars out there, but this beauty is the real deal. It's a prototype of Rickenbacker's top of the line, "German-carved" 381, but without the binding and triangular fretboard markers so it's closer to being a 330 in appointments. It is fully hollow and has previously been featured in a book published by Normans Rare Guitars. It's mostly been in private hands over the years so it is an honor to be able to further document and appreciate one of the best sounding Rickenbacker's to come through our shop. This would be a fine centerpiece to any collection.
