One of my most stoic friends had to close their eyes for half of the scenes so they didn’t start violently sobbing. 10/10 movie.

No one in my family can give me the “it’s just a phase” bs because my entire childhood I would consistently refuse to respond to my birth name, hide when we were being sorted into girls/boys groups at school, and even glared at people when they called me miss.

One of my earliest memories was getting in a lot of trouble for “vandalising” my report card by replacing all of the “ms [deadname]” with just “sir”.

Anyone else here have a similar thing where they just… knew they weren’t cishet from the start?

Rewatched TGP and the ending ruined me even more than last time. As I’ve moved on and lost more people in my life, it feels more important now.
