Apparently this never made it up? This was a wild commission for a new D&D monster someone wanted to introduce into their campaign. A creature that eats inhibitions and drains the morality of its victims as it encourages them to greater heights of depravity. Cool beans, but boy horror!
A lovely little 4e Pixie commission.
I tried something a little different this time, with the watercolor brushes. Do I like them? Yes. Do I need a helluva lot more practice? Absolutely.
One 1930s friend, painted and ready for her debut. I cannot wait to hear about this one’s story. I hear Invisible Sun is wild and that characters within it all go through some exceptional changes. Exciting.
The old manor was crumbling, its creaking beams buckling under the weight of a roof that had already fallen as fire devoured the home from within. From the front door - smashed from its hinges - a group of soot covered mercenaries burst forth, coughing, wounded and desperate to escape. Their respite was short lived. They had barely caught their breath as another explosion rocked the house. Out of the growing pillar of smoke floated a one-armed creature clothed in fine robes. There was the briefest moment of hope as the dark figure in the sky scanned the street for the mercenaries, squashed too soon. There was a spark - pink and orange light that flickered in the pits of its eyes, revealing a skeletal face locked in a rictus grin. The spark brightened, and heat blossomed in the skull, framing it bright and angry against the darkened sky. It spread, and the lich’s missing arm was replaced by supernatural fire, the heat of which could be felt from the ground. Its lair might have been destroyed but the battle was nothing like won.
Good luck, adventurers.
It’s the season, right?
