So… went out with dad today to use his birthday buffet coupon thingy. The guy ringing us up said, “So… two senior buffets?” Now I’m not good with actual age (so do I look good for almost 42? Who knows!) & I MAY look like the hip, older Jewish or Greek lady who gets up to all the shenanigans at the retirement home with the get-up I’ve got on today, but let me tell you, I think I look damn good for 75! 😂 Didn’t help matters that I just kept saying, “I’m an adult” like I’d lost my mind or was some kid trying desperately to pass for grown up, even though I laughed & said I’d take the senior discount instead of the adult buffet.
