They'd support you either way, if you're that serious with Hijikata. It'll be hard to woo this man, but of course, when he accepts, Hijikata does treat you well. ❥︎ Initially, when you harbored affections for him— Saito initially would turn a blind eye to the first signs, thinking it's just your caring personality as the Master. But as it goes on, Saito is torn between having to call you out on it or... Simply to let his feelings dictate the motions. He wanted you to think about your choices more carefully, but at the same time, can't help but think of the possibility of being with you— more than just being a Master and Servant.
