a collection of pictures that have kashitarou and amatsuki together. This year dopebox gave us CoF fans a feast 🥹
For those who don't know, Circle of Friends used to be an utaite group that made streams and gave concerts together during 2012-2016. Itou Kashitarou and Amatsuki were both core members in the group, and they've been friends even before that. After the group stopped activities, the interaction between the two got less and less each year until it stopped one day for some reason we don't know and that's why fans were happy to learn that they'll both act as seiyuus for Paralive.
I got to learn about CoF (circle of friends) after getting into paralive, but even so I started to look forward to seeing pictures of them together on Paralive Dope Show events. That's why i'm grateful to this newest event cuz phew for years we've been getting only crumbs...
I'll update this post if we get more pictures of them together!
Here's part two of my Yuugiroku translation. This is the second half of the common route, where you get the first character specific scene.
As usual, I don't claim to be fluent in Japanese, so there might be some odd translations here and there. Please don't distribute, claim as your own or retranslate in other languages. (I will, at a later date, upload these on LJ and blogger as well)

Chizuru: "Yamazaki-san... Would you mind if I go back to check on Hijikata-san? His complexion didn't look too good..."
Yamazaki: "You're right. He has been working really hard for a while now, and I don't think he's had a chance yet for a proper night's sleep. Alright. I will take care of investigate the matter of their meeting, then."
Chizuru: "Thank you. I'll help once I'm done here."
I said goodbye to Yamazaki-san and turned back towards Hijikata-san's room.
Chizuru: "... Hijikata-san, it's Chizuru. Can I come in?"
Despite my announcement, the other side of the door remained silent.
Even though I know he's in there... Did something happen?
Don't tell me he collapsed in there...!?
Chizuru: "Can you hear me? I'm going to open the door..."
After alerting him, I put my hand on the door frame and slowly pushed it open....
And found Hijikata-san facing his desk. He must have been so absorbed in his work, that my voice hadn't reached his ears.
But... I wonder why?
He looked remarkably happy, even though he was in the middle of work.
Hijikata: "What should I do with the... seasonal word? Cherry blossoms are a little too conventional... Should I go with plum after all...?"
Hijikata-san was mumbling to himself, while looking down at a white sheet of paper on his desk.
It was the first time that I saw him enjoying himself this much while working.
Chizuru: "Excuse me... Hijikata-san?"
As I called out to him once more, his broad shoulders twitched.
And then he nervously turned towards me--
Hijikata: "..."
Chizuru: "..."
Hijikata: "............."
Chizuru: "............."
Hijikata: "WOAH! Chizuru, how long have you been there!?"
Unusually flustered for his doing, he made an attempt to hide the white papers on his desk--
Chizuru: "Ah--"
--but in doing so, caused the mountain of documents on his desk to collapse--
Hijikata: "Ugh--!!"
--and the documents, that all seemed to have been properly sorted, were strewn all over the place.
Chizuru: "A-Are you alright, Hijikata-san...!?"
Hijikata: "Y-Yeah, I can sort them again later, so don't worry..."
For some reason, his cheeks coloured red while I was speaking.
Hijikata: "Say... did you... see anything?"
He sounded like he was touching a sore spot.
Chizuru: "Sorry? Ah... I was pretty far away, so I didn't really see what you were writing. Were those documents related to an important job?"
Hijikata: "HM!? Ah, ah... yeah, they were. I write, and I write, but it never ends. I'm about to reach my limit."
Hijikata-san then cleared this throat like he was evading the question, straightened his posture and addressed me again.
Hijikata: "That aside, why did you come back? Did you want to discuss something with me?"
Chizuru: "Ah... yes!"
Hijikata-san's words reminded me of why I had come back here.
Chizuru: "Hijikata-san, I heard that you have been pushing yourself lately to continue working, and that you haven't been sleeping. It would be a huge problem if you collapsed, so Kondou-san asked me if I could check on your health."
Hijikata: "Kondou-san did? ... Ah, I see."
It would be different if it were someone else, but it looked like he hadn't intended to cause Kondou-san worry.
He averted his eyes for a little while, presumably because he felt awkward he did, when eventually...
Hijikata: "A couple of days without sleep is no big deal. Tell Kondou-san not to worry."
As he replied, I noticed his face looked slightly puffy from a lack of sleep.
Chizuru: "But..."
Hijikata: "... The work I do now is my reason to live. A little struggle is no big deal if it ultimately helps protect the Shinsengumi. There's no reason for you to wo-"
While he spoke, a yawn escaped his mouth.
Hijikata: "... Guess I might have been working too hard. I'll go wash my face to rinse the drowsiness off."
Chizuru: "Ah... Let me join you, then."
---
We ended up leaving his room together, and while on our way to the well...
We suddenly caught voices coming through a slightly open door of one of the rooms we passed.
???: "Is it true that we can't find it? Even though I went through such trouble to obtain it--"
When realised whose voice it was, Hijikata-san's expression turned hard.
With gestures, he instructed me not to make a sound, before approaching the door and checking inside the room.
It looked like Itou-san and one of his soldiers were inside.
Both men wore a serious expression, so it was clear they were discussing something important.
Itou: "If any of the other soldiers happen to find it, we'll never get it back....! I'm only asking you because I trust you. You have to find it, whatever means necessary."
Soldier: "Yessir...!"
He sounded desperate when he gave his orders, before standing up slowly and heading towards the door.
And then---
When he noticed Hijikata standing in the corridor, his eyes grew wide.
However, he quickly regained his composure.
Itou: ".... Oh, were we eavesdropping? Sounds like the perfect pastime for a Vice Commander."
Although Itou-san said it sarcastically, Hijikata-san didn't seem to care.
Hijikata: "Oh, really? Were you talking about something I shouldn't hear? You said you lost something... So, what is it? I'll lend you a hand."
With the question thrown back at him equally sarcastically, Itou-san's expression turned clearly displeased.
But it quickly vanished from his face.
Itou: "Who knows? You might have misheard. I have plans later, so I must take my leave now."
After lightly brushing his hair off his shoulders, Itou-san left.
Hijikata: "... What is that man plotting? He said something about there being consequences if any of the other soldiers found it. That bothers me. ... Maybe I should try putting Yamazaki on it."
After mumbling to himself, Hijikata-san then turned to me.
Hijikata: "Chizuru, continue investigating the movements of the captains. I'm counting on you."
Chizuru: "Ah-- Yes!"
After my reply, Hijikata-san ended up returning to his own room.
Although I was worried about what Itou-san was looking for... I needed to find out what the captains were talking about first.
----
Although I tried looking for the other captains.... Everyone had apparently left the compound, so I couldn't obtain any specific information.
While feeling at a loss, I made a move to go back to my room...
Shimada: "Yukimura-san, could I trouble you for a moment? Do you happen to know where Itou-san might right now?"
Chizuru: "If you're looking for Itou-san, he apparently had to go out earlier. What do you need him for?"
Shimada: "Is that so? I must have missed him, then. It just so happens that I found this on the ground in the corridor."
While he spoke, Shimada-san took a small box from the sleeve of his kimono.
Shimada: "I tried asking a few other soldiers, and they thought it might belong to Itou-san. I planned about returning it to him, but... I have business for our Commander later, so I won't be able to give it to him. Yukimura-san, could I maybe ask you to give this back to Itou-san?"
Chizuru: "Ah... of course."
Shimada: "I'm glad to hear that. Then, if you would."
Shimada-san gave me a slight bow and then walked out through the gate.
I took another look at the box I was handed.
Could this be what Itou-san was talking about earlier that he needed to find...?
What should I do with this small box?
Verify the contents (Continue route)
Give it to Itou-san (normal ending)
... Let's check the inside before handing it back to Itou-san.
If this was anything dangerous, it might cause some irreversible damage....
With that thought in mind, I returned to my room while muffling my footsteps.
---
I closed the door behind me once I got back to my room, and put my hand on the box's lid.
And what came out of the box....
Chizuru: "This is... a small mallet?"
It was a toy mallet that looked like it came out of a fairy tale. I picked it up to have a closer look, but I didn't find anything suspicious.
Why did Itou-san want to find this so badly...?
I tilted my head, and gave the mallet a slight shake.
And then--
*flash*
Chizuru: "...!?"
The surrounding scenery suddenly got blurry, and I felt my consciousness start to fade away.
W-What's happening? What is going on...?
Almost at the same time that my body collapsed on the tatami, I lost consciousness.

(T/N: Yuugiroku takes inspiration from the Japanese folklore tales of Uchide no Kozuchi, a magic hammer. For those of you who've played Okami (and many others), this might sound familiar.)
