Day 23, Fights
Have some rowdy teen boys pissing off their designated caregiver. You can't tell me a couple of teens raised for war never fought with each other, probably over something stupid too.

I tried to make Toffee in one color scheme.
And yes, I know that Toffee's finger was missing on his right hand. It's too late to fix anything🙃

Toffebraury Day 28: AU/Cosplay
From a Dimension where the Spiderbites are in charge of Mewni, treat the Monsters worse than the Butterflies did and the Darkest Spell was delivered by one, here comes: Lizard Noir!
Apperance
He had the same apperance as Canon! Toffee, but after being cursed by the mother of Penelope Spiderbite, the back of his afected hand has a white/cream spider symbol and half of his right arm has turned dark purple (just like Canon! Eclipsa)
His eyes and some part of his tail changed to the same color. He now has black eyelids that could pass as heavy makeup (he doesn't have a problem with that)
His hair has turned white/cream and he has dark purple veins all across his body that resembles a Spiderman suit
He wears a outfit similar to Spider Noir. and part of the suit Canon! Toffee wears. The piece of clothing around his fedora, his tie and his glove are made from the same cape his Rasticore used to wear. The same can be said about his boots (it belonged to Rast)
Because the spell affected his Septarian metabolism, this Toffee is not as tall as Canon! Toffee, being just a little taller than an average adult human.
Personality
He is an anti hero at best. He embraces the "With great power comes great responsibility" philosophy but still makes some selfish acts for his amusement.
He sometimes yearns for company, as he was forced into isolation since other monsters stayed away from him due to being cursed.
The only monster who was always by his side was his best friend and soldier Rasticore, but he died after being hit in the chest with a powerful spell from a Spiderbite soldier. Toffee was very destroyed after that and blames himself for not being there at that time.
He tried to help some monsters with his newfound powers, but ended up killing them, so he decided that staying away from every creature was the best.
He can be very sarcastic and soft spoken like Canon! Toffee, but he has the same Edgelord energy as Spider Noir from the Spiderverse movie.
He believes himself to be a walking disaster machine, an abomination to Septarians, somebody who can't really control his emotions even though he seems so stoic all the time, etc (boi doesn't have the best self esteem in all of Mewni, you know)
But he hides all his insecurities with a mysterious, sometimes playful and sarcastic actitude. The reason he can't control his powers very well is that he has anxiety for all that he's been through.
Powers
He lost completely his regenerative habilities, but gained other interesting powers.
He can shoot purple webs with his affected hand and the tip of his tail, but he won't use the later unless it's a really serious problem because he finds this very awkward.
Whatever is consumed in his webs can be completely destroyed (similar to the spell Canon! Eclipsa used on Meteora), but he only does that to machines and other inanimated objects since he believes that doing this to a living being (Monster or Mewman) is a really low move.
He can stick to the walls and has a spider sense, which is... really not helpfull at all, as he had a lizard sense before and sometimes both senses collide and poor Noir is left wondering what sense is more important before getting hit by an enemy.
He also has other arachnid powers that he doesn't yet discover and even if he does, he would not use them because of his hatred towards spiders.
Even though he has spider powers and has almost accepted them, he despises being called a spider because he asociates that animal with the Spiderbites, the royal family who took everything from him. He prefers to be called by his rogue name: Lizard Noir.
He also accepts lizard, monster, Septarian or just Toffee.
Bonus facts
Since the Star of his dimension is not relevant, he doesn't know who she is.
Just like Spider Noir, his entire world is monochrome and so is he.
Unlike S. Noir, if he arrives at a colorful Dimension, he adquires color and that adventure will be the first time actually hearing new color names, but he's still color blind, hence his confusion with everything around him. Especially the color purple.
He worked as a lawyer defending Monsters Rights, likes to drink West Mewman Swamp Water and fight "Solarian" Warriors. A lot.
Phrases that Toffee uses every time after that fateful spell:
"I hate spiders"
"(sighs)... Great"
"I AM NOT A SPIDER!!!"
"I'm not wearing a mask"
"The Spiderbites are going pay"
"You can call me... Lizard Noir"
"I am NOT allied with the Spiderbite monarchy"
This Toffee concept AU was created in January 2019. Yep, this AU has more than a year in my Tumblr's archives, ready to be presented at any time, and Toffebruary seemed like a good opportunity to do it.
Toffebruary Update
After doing some thinking, I’m afraid that I’ve decided to bow out of @toffebraury this year. I really hate having to bail on the first tribute to my favourite character from SvTFoE, and I hate disappointing my friends and fellow Toffee-appreciators even more, but unfortunately I have too many other things going right now.
My family and I are still putting our rooms back together after the flood.
I have online classes to get back to.
Other fanfics to write.
Asks to answer.
Etc, etc, etc.
But, it’s not all bad. I have more time to finish Corn & Circuses and my Entrapdak fic! And I can still make Toffee content whenever I feel like it.
More importantly, there’s always next year, right?
