I beg you to support this project, it was difficult for me, if there is a good response, I promise I will make this animation in color..

Eclipsa was, perhaps, the only character toward whom Elistafet felt such warm, almost maternal affection.

Their acquaintance began extremely tensely—with Elistafet's total hatred for the daughter of Solaria, the murderer of her family. She remained skeptical for a long time, even when the other monsters began to accept Eclipsa.

Yet Eclipsa's very nature could not help but affect her. Elista is half-Mewman; the blood of the enemy flows through her veins, and this stirred up a whole tangle of internal conflicts. If she categorically considers all Mewmans enemies, does that mean she herself is a potential traitor? These thoughts drove her to engage with the butterfly princess, to try to understand her true motives. And the longer Elistafet spent time with her, the clearer she saw before her not an enemy, but a child trapped in a system from which there is no escape—yet doing everything possible within the limits of her age and strength. Elistafet grows fond of her and is almost ready to reconcile with her own human side.

But the longer the war drags on, the more obvious it becomes that Eclipsa is unwilling to take a clear stance, vacillating between the monster camp for the sake of Globgor and Butterfly Castle. And when Elistafet demands she choose, Eclipsa returns to the castle, forming an alliance with Shastacan. This breaks Elista's heart. She takes it deeply to heart, becomes disillusioned, and finally gives up on accepting her hybrid heritage. On the contrary, she becomes sharply radicalized, feeling betrayed: now she is convinced that all Mewmans are dangerous, that their kindness is feigned, and that for their atrocities they deserve complete annihilation.

Hoarding Disorder🐍🦎

Hoarding Syndrome in Elistafet and Toffee, and the latter having to deal with it. The clash of their defense mechanisms.

Toffee possesses very low emotional intelligence, and for this reason, his help in curing a mental illness remains limited. His world is built on control and clear agreements, and in his relationship with Elista, he offers only these tools—requests, deadlines, obligations—leaving the deeper layers of trauma unaddressed. He understands the reasons for her condition and sees the logic behind every step, but his own emotional apparatus does not grant him access to the levers that could unravel this knot, so he remains within the bounds of his competence, registering external manifestations instead of facilitating internal transformation.

Elistafet has experienced the loss of her family and the destruction of her familiar way of life, where her existence was filled with freedom and will. After the war with Solaria, she lost her culture, because the ideal of freedom shattered against the ban on monsters freely traveling through Mewni. Hunger and poverty lasted for many years of her youth, and this experience distorted her perception of things, giving material objects the meaning of absolute reliability and permanence. In the end, she settled in Toffee's workshop in search of refuge, but this decision exacerbated her loneliness and lack of live communication, closing the circle of social isolation. She transferred all her need for attachment onto inanimate objects, sinking deeper into her trauma every day and forming hoarding syndrome as a persistent way to maintain control over the world through possession.

Do you think Eclipsa resents her biological butterfly family after the war crimes they committed on monsters? I like to think that she took every chance she got just to get away from the castle. Do you think she had any one who truly cared for her besides her mother?

I've thought about this- Eclipsa has always seemed very sure of herself and at peace with the fact that it's pretty much her little family against the world. I'm sure it was very tumultuous when she was a teen though! Having to come to terms with the fact that the people you love have done terrible things was such a big theme of SvtFoE, I think it would've been cool to see Eclipsa struggle with the relationship she had with her Mother/the rest of the Butterfly Kingdom. Hopefully she made a lot of friends with the monsters she and Globgore lived with!

If Toffee dated Eclipsa, I would like to imagine that he was also best friends with Globgor. They were both in love with Eclipsa but of course she choose Globgor over Toffee. Toffee would turn evil and join Seth's army of monsters. Toffee would have been the petty and jealous ex boyfriend that would betray his friends but he would feel remorse for everything he has done to them and he would fight back against Seth.

The relationship I picture is more like that Toffee, despite being a Septarian who tends to keep separate from other monsters, is invested in fighting for monster independence with Globgore.

Globgore brings Eclipsa into the friend group which is a much harder sell since she's Mewman, and a princess no less. But then he sort of is won over by Eclipsa's charm and enthusiasm, and it's a sort of? Flirty friendship? Like lots of teasing?

The story idea I've had for a long time is showing how the friendship has a falling out that leads into Eclipsa getting the wand, Solaria being killed, and where everyone stands before E and G get frozen for 300 years

When you worked for SVTFOE, how many characters did you end up designing for the show, and how many were scrapped ?

I didn't design too many- most of the time there was a good amount of previs already! Sometimes you're given a character design and you end up drawing it a bit differently, and then the final design of the character is changed to reflect the boards. Like with Cobalt here!

I don't really remember if I did anything else like that , but for funsies I'll share an OC I made up that could be Tom's bf lol (named Orion!)

And a few doodles of what I thought the original demon of the Blood Moon looked like!

Buggy Lady

She's an old Earthworm Jim oc that I wanted to repurpose. At least I'm pretty sure it was Earthworm Jim... Anyway, she's going to be stand alone, as in no specific fandom. That being said, she'll probably still interact with all my fav canons UuU. Don't have a name yet though.
