Story
In a high school known as Kyuumei Girls’ High, four girls run an unofficial club known as the Truth Of Kooky Konundrums Enquiry (TOKKEN for short) [1], where they do whatever strikes their fancy. The four of them investigate (and sometimes discover) various mysteries around the school. But as they uncover the truths behind these phenomena, even stranger things occur...
Characters
Akane (Original CV. Mahoro Miyaji)
A member of the school’s Green Space Conservation Committee, she tends to the flowers in the school gardens everyday.
Her family owns a flower shop, so she’s well-versed in the language of flowers.
She’s earnest and kindhearted, but can also be quite stubborn.
She absolutely adores cats. As soon as she lays her eyes on one, no matter what kind it is, she will unfailingly shower it in affection.
Kaori (Original CV. Riko Hinakura)
The sensible one in TOKKEN. She has a strong sense of justice, but isn’t exactly the bravest one around.
She tries her best to rein in Akane and Sachi’s antics, and is the one who tries to find the logical explanation to things.
She has a black belt in karate. (Through hardly any effort on her part; it was all genetics and natural talent.)
However, she is scared of the dark.
Sachi (Original CV. Miharu Yomine)
TOKKEN’s club president. Quiet and measured, but she knows a lot about a lot of things.
Rarely shows her emotions on her face. She’s childhood friends with Akane and Kaori.
She can list every suspected paranormal event in history, as well as the date on which they occurred.
An avid fan of all things occult, her dream is to move to America and live in Roswell, New Mexico. [2]
Tao (Original CV. Aya Kamuro)
A big sister and leader figure for the other three members of TOKKEN. She has a strong sense of justice, and is adept at practically every sport.
She tends to act first and think later. The baseball and soccer clubs have been persistently trying to scout her since she started school.
She can’t say no to helping people in trouble, even if it means sticking her neck into dangerous situations.
She’s not in TOKKEN out of any particular interest in the occult per se, but more so to help those in need.
