Beat a game called Tokyo Dark not that long ago. If you like horror games I’d recommend it however maybe buy it on your switch and not on steam. My game had a bug that made the screen flash every time I went to a new area. Was pretty rough.

“Desde el lanzamiento de Tokyo Dark hemos estado trabajando duro en una secuela, lamentablemente hemos tenido que poner ese proyecto en espera de forma indefinida. Cherrymochi está sobreviviendo pero nos estamos moviendo a otros proyectos.

El Tokyo Dark original fue publicado en PC (Steam) por Square Enix Collective en septiembre de 2017. Luego fue publicado por Unties en PlayStation 4 y Nintendo Switch bajo el nombre de Tokyo Dark: Remembrance en noviembre de 2019.

A sequel to Tokyo Dark in development at Cherrymochi has been put “indefinitely on hold” for the time being, the developer announced on Twitter.

“Since Tokyo Dark‘s launch, we have been hard at work on ‘TD2,'” Cherrymochi’s Jon and Maho said in a tweet. “Unfortunately, we have had to put that project indefinitely on hold for now. Cherrymochi is surviving but we’re moving onto other projects.”

Cherrymochi also shared a first look at some of the art and development finished for the Tokyo Dark sequel (the above image and the images below).

While currently on hold, not all hope for the sequel’s revival is lost. In a final tweet, the developer said, “Publishers and partners—if anyone wants to magically sweep in and save TD2, we are always open to talk!”

Benjamin Rivers, creator of indie games Home, Alone With You, and Worse Than Death, responded to the tweet with further hope, saying, “If you Kickstart, I am there. If you want help with a publisher pitch, I am there. (Check your DMs.)”

The original Tokyo Dark first launched for PC in September 2017, followed by Switch and PlayStation 4 as Tokyo Dark: Remembrance in November 2019 and January 2020, respectively.
