I’ve spent way too long trying to make CAW work and now I’m back to building.
Tokyosou - scenery shots #1
So I started playing this custom world called Tokyosou, based on Tokyo, Japan, and also inspired by other cities and town around Japan. It was created by KiearaPhoenix, and you can find more info and the download link here.
I fell in love with the whole world. The builds and the environment are so beautiful. The resident sims / premades are interesting. And I really enjoyed playing in this world. The usual TS3 rabbit hole buildings here are not really rabbit holes, they’re full builds with just rabbit hole rugs (except the stadium, I think).
The only downside I have is that it’s a heavy world, and I already experienced crashes whenever I try maneuvering the camera around the world or within the household (usually after an hour of gameplay). I’ve never experienced this in my other saves. Maybe it’s just my PC, but it may work on your gear, so I still recommend you try this out. What I did was I deleted some blurry / low-quality hood building deco and a few trees in the outskirts of town / in the mountain areas. I think it solved my crashing problem LOL
The last photo is how the skyline / landscape of my Tokyosou look like after I deleted a few hood deco. I don’t think there’s a drastic change, really. The vibes and look are still very Tokyo.
Besides, we rarely get Asian-inspired worlds, so this one is a really good and fresh offering hahaha
