True to character, the Luthien design is beautiful and was a real pain in the butt.
So, once upon a time @youareunbearable referred to Amrod and Amras as "my little burnt sweet potatoes" and it's been living rent-free in my head ever since.
...That's it. That's the only defense I've got.
I wanted to finish digitizing these tonight, but I hit Melian and started making mistakes.
Hmmm. The swan bit obviously needs work. And while I'm happy with the ship bit aesthetically, it's a partial trace of a photo of a sailing ship, and I'm vaguely worried that the sails I left out will mean that the boat is nonsense to boat people. The boat illustration equivalent of trying to pass a keysmash off as a coherent sentence.
I realized I was missing an obvious opportunity.
Lol, I could juuuust fit all of the heraldry patches on my large embroidery hoop (well, sans the second Luthien design), but when I went to run it it was too many stitches for my machine. (Apparently she maxes out at 120,000, and the 15 patches together is about 150,000.)
And considering the run time... I may just pass on testing all the digitzations until/unless I'm actually making them for someone.
Absurd.
Didn't like that i didn't have an elwing design, so.
Did a quick and uninspired Celebrimbor design, and finally went back and finished the Miriel design I had started.
