Haha, thank you! I feel really excited! And I shouldn't, coz we don't even know if we're going to get it yet. I just really hope we do. Then we have to sort out the bond and shit like that. And then I get to do what I was born to do - SHOP! Kmart isn't going to know what hit it when I'm done with buying shit for the flat. Hahahah. Dish racks, laundry baskets, coffee plunger - you name it, I'm buying it. Over a couple of weeks coz Imma be broke, but whatever. LOL

seriously though, i was born good at doing two things, reversing a car and shopping.

OMG I didn't even realise ridge-filling base coat for nails was a thing! I usually buff mine down but I don't really like diminishing the thickness of my nails for it. This is why I love this blog <3

Yeah they're great!! Buffing is cool for shine but it does weaken your nails. Happy to bring them to your attention. :)

Ugh! It's awful right!? I didn't grow up at the beach, but I grew up going to Waipu almost every weekend. It's my favourite place in the world and it is the place that I go when I want to get away from everything and unwind. I LOVE living in Auckland. I am a city girl. BUT, if I could live near the sea, I would.

I am just craving the beach. The sun, the water, even the sand! I HATE SAND! It goes everywhere! I just want to go swimming, and walk along the beach and sleep whenever I want, and catch some rays. I just need the beach right now, and all the beaches in Auckland are too grotty to satisfy my craving.

Jarrod is getting some time off soon, and I think we'll go up to my parents bach for the weekend. I hope so, anyway. I am craving the beach so much, and also, it will be Jarrod's first time up there, and I really want to show him my little piece of paradise. I know he'll probably get up there and be like "WAT DA FAQ" coz it's so small and I've talked it up, but whatever. I'll take him to the Pizza Barn (best restaurant in Waipu) and that will shut him up. :]

Just a follow up question to the one someone asked about how to make their Mac lipstick last longer, since I've just bought the Mac Rebel lipstick as well haha. Anyway I've never bothered with lip liner before so...if I'm using it under the lipstick do I use a liner in the same colour as the lipstick, or do I use one in a shade closer to my own lip colour or...?

if you use one thats more the color of the lipstick, as the lipstick wears off, the color will fade gradually into the lip liner color.
