Draw Places. so this is a lil general practice #for something that i worked on for just 2 days its honestly. preddy good.. i just struggle with the colors and how to integrate characters-#-in an environment #with more time taken this could look even better but i dont want to overdo it gfdbhh my brain is frying looking at it #the wall on the right looks like ass. the way they did the windows in the kingsbridge cloister is so difficult actually good lord #also? the opening into the garden is on the wrong wall. but we dont talk about that lol #my starting reference wasnt from th game and i realized too late that it was on the wrong side

i really luv this old comic especially their faces :^))) plan to repost other old works on the pillars of the earth just to contribute to this fandom here like rock carvings that just exist

Francis: This Aliena... A real beauty, isn't she? Philip: ...Perhaps.

Francis: "Perhaps"? You're blind, brother! She's the most gorgeous woman I've ever seen! She can make any priest forget about his rank! Philip: Francis... I can't answer your question. I'm not exactly a connoisseur of female beauty, I'm afraid.

Philip: Good morning, Tom! Glad to see you in good health. Tom: Good morning to you, prior! I told you not to worry. Ellen works wonders with her decoctions, and thanks to her, I can get back to work right now.

Francis: Not a connoisseur, you say... I wonder why.

Philip: I have no idea what are you talking about and don't think I want to.

Alfred: Such a petty person. Imagine marrying a woman who doesn't love youand whom you don't lovejust to stop her from marrying your brother (seriously, his obsession with Jack is something that needs investigating).

William: At a certain point, things were going TOO well for him—too well (come on, he switched sides three times and even set a town on fire); there’s no world where he was guaranteed the earldom; at most, Stephen might have let them collect tithes.

Aliena: Well, her life is a total tragedy, but it cracks me up that she set off on this deadly journey with the baby and the little guy is actually surviving.

Note: I absolutely loved the moment she took the blame for everything (obviously she isn't responsible for anything, but it was a moment I’d been waiting for—I knew it was coming).

Jack: This might be an unpopular opinion, but he should have married Aysha. I love Jack, but I hated him when he told Aliena to kill herself (especially when she was clearly going through the worst moment of her life).

Richard: Well, he’s insufferable, and Ellen is right—I think it’s time he learned to stand on his own two feet. He’s been a knight for years, never betrayed Stephen, and yet he couldn't even manage to get gifted a patch of land to farm?

Stephen: Historically, I’m Team Mathilde, but Stephen is just wonderful. Protect him at all costs.

Ellen: Always so extra; I love her. She could have taken Martha with her, though.

Philipp: I just love him; he hasn't got a clue, but I love him. I adore how he’s now clashing with his own hunger for ambition.

Waleran: He just keeps on plotting. GOOD.

Regan: I haven't seen her on screen in ages. Bring back Lady Regan!

Last but not least: Tom! The argument between Tom and Jack was sublime, and I wish it had had more of an impact on Tom’s psyche. In the end, he died thinking his son Alfred was an angel and that Jack was reproaching him for having been useless ...all for nothing. I really hoped the argument would lead to some kind of growth, but no.
