OMG! We got Tom Coker!!!
Until last it week it was a mystery as to who the creative teams were on the two other, non-Wolverine stories in this anthology. Then I saw an ad, and Namor fans were left with the choice of Greg Pak & Tom Coker or Ann Nocenti & Greg Land. My fondest wishes came true and we got Pak & Coker! It is GORGEOUS! And Pak has always written a solid Namor. Check out his What If the Sub-Mariner was Raised on Land? issue.
I can’t wait until next Wednesday to pick this beauty up!

The creative team on Gen 13/ The Maxx made some unusual choices.
Lotta butts in this comic.
The weird lack of outlines on Julie’s shoulder is something that happens a few other places - people’s hands look like mittens at times:
I don’t know if it was a coloring effect that didn’t work out, or what, but it really distracts from what is otherwise a pretty good-looking book. Coker does some great facial expressions, and the Outback stuff looks like it came right out of the cartoon.
I couldn’t find much information online about this book but I’m glad I found it in the dollar bins.
