I just really needed this on my dash...
"Nostrils raped" is where I completely lost my shit. Lol!
I initially went to see it for Clay Aiken, but Tom Deckman (the ministrel in that scene) was so damn adorable!
Ladies and Gentlemen, the MAD TALENTED Tom Deckman as Prince Herbert and Rick Holmes as Sir Lancelot in Spamalot on Broadway. I saw this five times. Then when Rick joined the LA cast for a month I saw it twice again. He was always amazing with all the characters/voices and can improv topical humor with the best of them. There are a few spots in the show (mostly for his characters) where the line is left open to change each time/be topical, most notably as the Knight Who Says Ni. Usually it was a line or two, but at one show I saw in LA he did something like two VERSES about South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford's disappearance to Argentina for an affair. The longer it went on, the funnier it was. The entire cast on stage completely lost it. Rick Holmes is superb. And super nice.
