"no way tom's rate could be anywhere near charlie's tally. tom never had extra ration dollars to spare, and charlie was always buying beer, pop, and fried chicken wings for the crowd who gathered around to listen to his stories" absolutely screaming, crying throwing up cause the reason tom didn't have extra was because he gave it to jessie to help feed nix. i am going to be SICK!!! step daddy thomas imura u mean the world 2 me
WoOOOOOo ZOMBIES! I AM NEVER DOING THIS AGAIN AAAA
I forgot what Benny was like in the first book. This is killing me....he's so annoying but like in the best way possible (being that this is a reread I know that this is intential and he has really good character development)
The fact that Tom had to deal with this for 14 years is so sad. This reread makes me really feel for Tom. Poor guy.
I love this book and these brothers tbh
So much brother fluff i love it ❤❤💖💝😭👍 and gore
If You Want to Write, Read Jonathan Maberry
I am in awe. I just have to talk for a minute, I am stunned. Jonathan Maberry, author of the Rot & Ruin series, has left me changed, both as a writer and as a person. If you want to know how to write the zombie apocalypse, read this series. If you want to learn to write chaos, love, pain, siblings, pure genius, character flaws, 3 dimensional characters, character development, fear, thrill, literally anything, read this series. Maberry crafts this story flawlessly, I cannot even put into words how appreciative I am. I had the first book spoiled for me, and it still surprised me and wasn't at all ruined. I cannot praise this enough. Maberry is a literary genius. I mean wow. I am just at a loss. I just want to say thank you so much Jonathan Maberry for writing this. I'm so happy to have it in my life.
Me: Oh man I picked up a new book and I really love it! I love this one character! He’s really cool!!
*character dies*
Me:
Benny: "That's stupid, though. It's cowardly."
Tom: "Welcome to the real world, kiddo."
