Stormé DeLarverie was a legendary entertainer, a smoothly charismatic figure, a firebrand, a rebel, a sister, a father figure, a fighter and a protector. As she says best in her own words, she was “a survivor who helped other people survive.” THAT is why she’s a legend. She was the very best of us.
Why Miss Lucy. What a bold and colorful frock you chose for this moment. We're surprised because she tends to go for classic, elegant, relatively low-key looks. Big bold colorful prints and unusual design details are things she normally tends to avoid. (Guess they missed her Golden Globes look this year.) ;)

Those final shots make any sort of fashion critique pretty much impossible for us. Smart move, lady. Even so, despite not loving the sleeve and also forcing ourselves to admit that we don’t much love the print either, this is a really great look for her. It’s incredibly photogenic, if nothing else. She looks great – in a dress that we probably wouldn’t like at all on someone else.
