"Usagi Yojimbo 40th Anniversary Reader" Collection Announced
2024 is the 40th anniversary of Stan Sakai's Usagi Yojimbo. Dark Horse and Dogu Publishing have announced Usagi Yojimbo 40th Anniversary Reader, a collection of hand-picked Usagi tales in color from Emi Fujii, Tom Luth, and Ronda Pattison, to celebrate the anniversary. The cover art for the collection is by Stan Sakai.
The eight Stan Sakai collected tales in Usagi Yojimbo 40th Anniversary Reader include "Chanoyu," "A Mother’s Love," "Blade of the Gods," "The Way of the Samurai," "Cut the Plum," "The Artist," "Buntori," and "Adachi."
Usagi Yojimbo 40th Anniversary Reader trade paperback goes on sale in bookstores on June 18, 2024, and comic shops on June 19, 2024.
