Hi everyone, hope you're having a magical day. I've decided to write a multiple chapter story between Tom Riddle and an OC. I'm currently working on the first chapter and hope to post it soon. Here's a little taster:
The Aetherium Bargain
Hogwarts, 1945. Tom Riddle is charismatic, brilliant, and utterly ruthless. As Head Boy, he is the most desired student at school—but only one person holds the key to his darkest ambition.
Elara Solis is from an ancient family, the keeper of a forgotten arcane artefact: the Aetherium Lock, a source of power that Tom Riddle is determined to possess. Recognising her unique magical legacy, Tom begins a meticulous, months-long courtship, praising her intelligence and sharing deep, false vulnerabilities about his orphaned past.
Under the guise of a shared destiny, he convinces Elara that their bond is real, that their combined power can fix the broken wizarding world. Elara, desperate to be understood, falls recklessly in love with the sensitive genius she believes is hidden beneath the perfect mask.
But as the school year draws to a close, and their 'love' ritual approaches, Tom reveals the terrifying truth: her heart was never the prize—it was only the vessel. Her affection is the final, willing sacrifice needed to activate the Lock and bind its power to his own dark soul.
In the aftermath of the betrayal, Elara is left broken, magically drained, and haunted by the knowledge that she helped unleash the monster who will become Lord Voldemort. Now, she must decide if she can ever be whole again, or if the price of Tom Riddle's ambition is a debt only she can repay.
