I think I mentioned this already at the past but if everything in ELL.sworld is the opposite of what would occur in EDD.sworld (tom gets a box of donuts; tamara doesn't get the donuts in the box)

then it just makes sense to conclude that jason (jesse) is pinning hard for tamara (tom) but she doesn't reciprocate because she has no idea he likes her
