So we know how baji's journey end and all but I wanna know your head canons in the au where he’s survive. Like, in the future where everyone is happy, will he go to university, or works after graduate from high school, What his job will be, his relationship with other toman founder and probably Takemittchi, etc.
You don’t have to write anything too detail. I am just curious how would you imagine it.

Baji's Future HCs: Yandere Platonic Toman AU
in the Yandere Platonic Toman AU, I would say Baji's future would depend very heavily on what you decide to do long term
actually all of the founder's future would take your choice very heavily into consideration, but let's just focus on Baji
University
Baji's dream would be to open a vet clinic or a pet shop and run it with you and Kazutora, but of course where he eventually ends up depends on what he does in university
and university is almost a guarantee - both you and Baji's mum would definitely encourage him to further his education, so that is what he would most likely do
but if you want him to actually study hard and graduate, best if you make sure that you two attend the same university and the same course because he will spend on his time keeping a very close eye on you and whoever interacts with you
if you do attend the same university and course as him, tons and tons of study sessions, project work, and overall time spent together
would love if all the toman founders would choose to go to university together, but that may or may not be possible depending on your intervention and their high school grades
actually you might have to be the one to drag Baji over the graduation line because without you holding him back, he might have already been expelled for dragging one too many potential suitors behind the school's parking lot and beating them into a pulp
needless to say, almost everybody, professors included, give you and him a wide berth in the corridors
Job
in terms of job, would definitely prefer to have you somewhere close, or even better, by his side, so that he can continue to keep an eye on you on behalf of the Toman founders
being your boss had its perks as well - he could kick anyone who was making trouble for you, or at least seemed to be making trouble for you in his eyes
plus, if he does open his whole shop, Kazutora would be able to watch over you as well when he isn't free
two is better than one, and Baji would love to have one of the Toman founders watching his back and yours
if you ended up instead working for one of the other founders, maybe with Draken in his motorcycle workshop, or in Pah-chin's real estate company, Baji would breathe and sleep easier even if he does go through with his plans to open a vet clinic or pet shop
but if you want to try and make it on your own, and apply to various jobs, Baji will make sure that you, or your parents, pass him the list of every company you have applied to, and apply there himself
no way he would allow you to work in a foreign environment with strangers all by yourself
wouldn't hesitate to pull string and call in favors to either get him into the same company as you, or to get your acceptance revoked
you can cry it out on his shoulder for as long as you wanted, he'll be here for you
no problem climbing the corporate ladder quickly - this boy was extremely street smart, and knew how to get things done and people whipped
would use his authority to keep you near him and protected - colleagues beware
Relationship
Baji's relationship with the other Toman founders would be the best out of everyone - he's basically the one holding the gang together besides you
pops in to check up on them from time to time, no matter where they are or what they do for a living
he doesn't judge whatever path they've taken, as long as they still open the door for him when he comes knocking
helps you to deliver messages or even bento boxes if you request, and brings you to meet them whenever you want
make sure to make him a box as well - this poor boy just wants to eat your warm meals and be reminded of better, simpler times
definitely the one to obtain everybody's schedules, and organize get-togethers and dinners with your help
after all these years, none of the Toman founders still can say no to your pouty face or teary-eyed look
hmmm Takemitchi is a tough one actually - because depending on which future Takemitchi we are looking at, Baji may be on different relationship terms with him
will try to maintain a better relationship with him if he is loser-Takemitchi because he wouldn't be scared of losing you to him, plus he is still grateful that time when he intervened and save his life
but if Takemitchi becomes successful, expect a much colder reception, especially when you are around
even if he is already attached, Baji literally doesn't trust any other guy or girl around you
no one but the Toman founders
if you aren't, Baji relaxes a lot more, no issues with inviting Takemitchi in for food and a drink

honestly Baji is not the type of friend to get jealous if you have other friends/you don’t hang out with me every spare minute of your time
you’re free to hang out in school with whoever, alone or in a group
doesn’t mind joining you to chill or eat lunch with a larger group of friends - even shares some mutuals with you
but you better still spend a minimum amount of time with him every week - that is bestfriends only time together
those friends know very well where the line is tho - Baji can get possessive and very protective very quickly - don’t test him
expects you to be loyal best friends, and only bestfriends get to know each other’s deepest secrets and thoughts, so don’t go spilling all your inner thoughts and secrets to some normal folk
or at least tell him first - this boy is honestly just super FOMO when it comes to you and your life
Baji 100% gotta hear any news first - no telling anyone else before him (except maybe your family)
also wants to be that go-to person if you have any problems or you need a shoulder - he is your rock and you are his
if he hears anyone talking about some issue you had before Baji hears about it - oh boy you gonna get one jelly boy on your hands
will throw hands at that person and threaten them to back off and who do they think they are
he’ll be pretty insulted if you told someone before him, and give you the cold shoulder for a couple of days
please just give him some love, Baji’s just being super insecure atm
definitely draws some boundaries with you on what your normal friends and mutuals can do with you and what is considered bestfriend territory
sure your friends can come over to your house to hang out, play games, study, sleepover, whatever - but they aren’t allowed to do that with you alone
that’s bestfriend territory - and Baji will make sure they know that
💯 will print out many, many pictures of you and him hanging out and having a blast and stick it all over your room walls to remind whoever that Baji is your bestfriend and not them
stuffs copies of those photos under your friends' tables and into their lockers when they test his boundaries
you can give presents to your other friends but make sure Baji gets the best/most meaningful present - double prize if its representative of a shared secret or if its an inside joke between the two of you
is not above threatening a few of your friends that get a bit too close to you for comfort - too baby to actually do anything to them because he doesn’t want to upset you
Baji can't and won't tell you when he is jealous - matter of pride and ego and all
but is super obvious when he is 🤡
will turn bright red and turn his face away when you ask him if he's jealous / call him out and insist that he's not
can't keep eye contact with you and starts to mumble about his issues

You couldn’t quite tell what it was that had set off that basic fight-or-flight instinct. Maybe it was the silent deadliness that radiated from his voice, or the quiet, slow footsteps that grew ever slightly louder as he approached you from behind. Arms tightening around your waist, the hands that were clutching the sides of your school shirt were shaking, as if you would vanish the moment he let go. And you let him. The air conditioning whirled gently, the cold air sinking down from the high ceilings a relief from the humid night outside; yet all that broke the stillness of the deserted lobby was the suppressed whimpering from behind you and the slightest rustle of clothes.

Still high on a good start to your morning, what you didn’t catch was the ever so slight crinkle of the corners of Mikey’s eyes, and the small smirk that was quickly concealed.
Learning social skills apparently wasn't a strong suit of yours, you noted, as the teacher droned on, failing to drown out the nagging thoughts that you had suppressed for so long that now roared straight back to the front of your mind. Remember that dream you had of falling off the tallest building headfirst? Your dream never had you crash into the street below, but you could safely say that you learnt that feeling when your dreams of having even more friends were all but smashed into a million pieces and you were dunked straight back into the harsh reality of life.

But you gave no indication of acknowledging what had happened, refusing to turn around to look at that stupid smug grin you just knew the giant of a man had on, instead opting to just curse your slip mentally. It seemed that you slipped ever so close into reverting into who you had been with Furu at your side. And yet, you couldn't say for certain that you hated it either. It had always been him and you after all, for as far back as you could remember up till when you left that life behind, and you would be lying to yourself if there weren’t occasions that you missed those times.
Another sigh slipped out from your lips before you could stop yourself, and you popped the last of your sandwich into your mouth in a desperate attempt to stop this seemingly endless cycle of thinking and sighing. Standing in front of your middle school gates, the furthest that Furu could technically go - you were sure if you asked him to, he wouldn’t hesitate to walk you all the way to your homeroom - you chewed slowly, your thoughts wandering, mixing and mingling with memories. Once again, through sheer habit alone, you mindlessly accepted the offered water bottle from him, taking a sip to clear your mouth of your breakfast before handing it back. And this time, Furu couldn’t help but chuckle when he caught you throwing an annoyed look at your hands, and although he quickly threw both arms up in surrender when you turned your annoyance at him, his amusement never left his face.
The irritation at your muscle memory, displayed all too clearly on your face, was quickly replaced with a look of consideration. Furu knew those flickering looks all too well from past late-night strategic meetings - those where you sat and listened and thought about the future of the gang; the light breeze that had you shivering just a few minutes ago was now all but a minor irritant as you worked through your thoughts and decisions. You had always worn your heart on your sleeve, Furu thought, even as he held out your school bag to you, and that had always been one of your endearing qualities. It seemed no matter how you tried to change, to leave your past - and them - behind, you were still you deep down.
