They are nt pretty but they are my winter carrots and parsnips!! . This is free food and it makes me so happy ! . This will feed me for a couple of days on my GAPS eating plan .. and I tell you my carrots taste better than yours!! 🤣🤣🙌🥕🥕. . So my next step is to see if I cover some carrot seeds outside under cover - if they ll come up - I ll line then with radish seeds .. ( carrots take ages compared to radish seeds) . . Today when the chickens would nt eat the chard left overs and roots . I wished I had my micro pigs ( @daddyofgeeks ) 🤣🙌 🐖 🐷.. . AND while I was outside I took a look round - lots of jobs to do . But I think I had some homemade compost too 🙌- it was a cold compost - so I m super excited for that !! . . . Just looking for bunny number two . To keel carrot the bunny company ... 🥰. She ll be going out into her garden home soon ( pending bad weather - then she ll be back in ) - so she ll definitely need a BFF! . .
