i... i caved. i know i dont like the sso quarter horse animations bc theyre abusive yadda yadda yadda... but i had to buy tombhoof. i saw that sweet lil face and i went "yk what imma get him bc i have enough sc" and guess what. i dont regret it. i love my son.

i wanna start this post off by saying i looooooove his regular coat. it's so quirky and adorable. i love somatic mutations like this, and it makes perfect sense, given that hes literally a fucking skeleton. i digress.

the attention to detail is incredible. hes even a lil bit dappled! and i love his blue, blue eyes. such a good touch.

this weird bald-badger-face-thing...? (idk what to call it tbh) its so cool i love how mottled and detailed they made it <3

ok now to the good stuff

i just... i loooooooove the fact that hes literally just a fucking skeleton. like hes just an x-ray of a regular horse. i also rly like the blue ombre under the bones, like its so aesthetically pleasing its giving disneys haunted mansion

i wanna say that the attention to getting this skeleton 1000% accurate is spot on. dead spot on. like i cant see c1 bc of his split mane but im sure its got that weird lil axe head on it. and that first spine on the last cervical is perfect. just like the real thing. he even has the lil gap between where the ribs connect for flexibility!

i love that he has his lil foramen on his face and the cheekbones are to die for. they even got that weird pocket (tmj??) above the eye like i always see that when they chew and stuff. and his sternum is so perfect and spot-on with how skeletons actually work yippee!

i just wanna say that i love the fact that they put his tailbone on his tail. thats so cute and perfect. and yes im also admiring that classic quarter horse boo-tay.

the scapula and femur and aaaaaaaah its so perfect its so real i love that you can even see the weird lumps and bumps and the ball and socket joints ehehehe

the sutures on his scapula???? this is insane????? also look at that attention to detail on his spine?!?!?!????

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand they even gave him wolf teeth!!! and i love that his ears arent made of bone! that makes me so happy! and they even got the nasal cavity the correct fucking size!!!!!!! i love him i love him i love him

oh also i forgor that i named him ghost

TL;DR: tombhoof is an equine anatomist's dream :3
