My Sad Friends

I love you all, and you probably deserve better than what you're getting out of life.  Also, I realize that most of us don't/won't have serious talks about anything, because we distract each other from the pain.  But we can do both.  I'm willing to listen to your problems, and still have goofy fun times with you afterwards.  I love you guys, sincerely.

What's your favorite song in Spanish

I really like Shakira’s Spanish version of waka waka, and I’m in love with David Bisbol’s part in wavin’ flag for the 2010 (don’t hold me to that year) FIFA World Cup.

Also like viva mi vida and there’s one I watched with a Spanish professor that I loved, but for the life of me I can’t remember the band or the song. I do remember they danced in an office building a lot during the music video though.

Oh, and I really like eres tú. I heard it once like 3 years ago and one of my friends makes fun of me for singing it all the time haha, but such is life. Thanks!

2. Which languages you know.

English, Spanish, French and a minute amount of Italian

3: Which languages you are learning, or want to learn.

I’m still in the learning process with French, and I would love to become fluent in Italian, and also learn Latin (because it’s SO helpful with the languages I know) and German (because my dad is fluent).

5: Your favourite language to listen to.

I love listening to people talk in Italian. I babysat for a string of families for a few years who all spoke Italian in their homes and to their children, and it’s a beautiful language. However, I love listening to songs in Spanish!

7: Your favourite word in your native language.

Wow that one’s a toughie. Probably either lugubrious (because I like the way my mouth moves when I say it haha) or opulent. That one rolls off the tongue rather nicely.

Actually yes. I accidentally rented the Japanese version of Godzilla once instead of the Matthew Broderick one. I figured might as well not waste the two dollars…
