The first long interview after her move to Bayern was announced. Really an interesting and good read.

Red Card Sveni™ with Poppi, Omar and Stroot 😅
FC Twente coach Tommy Stroot, is going to be the new WOB coach next season
An interesting move here and I must admit I know little to nothing about him but he's not done badly at all with Twente and he's German and he'll be fresh blood with a new head so hopefully he'll be able to make the change wob needs to see in the upcoming years. I'm tentatively happy with this, mostly because I dont know that much about him!
This is how the VfL women go into the Nuremberg game | VfL Wolfsburg
Very good statement by Tommy Stroot 👍🏼
Tommy Stroot spricht über die Personalsituation, die Gegnerinnen und Lena Oberdorf.
Totally agree with this

That is indeed a very good comment. I like that he discusses the big picture and doesn't hesitate to mention that blaming young and media-savvy players doesn't happen for the first time. And it is irritating. Other potential new Wolfsburg players do certainly notice.
And we've discussed how Obi seems to be very much exhausted mentally and physically. She mentioned it herself. It's not difficult to imagine that other players who experienced the rollercoaster of the Euros final, the WWC exit and everything in between are also struggling. Like I wrote a few days ago, I didn't like how Stroot said that being tired is not tolerated. And blaming a single player in public now (by criticizing her personal environment 🤨) is also a very old-fashioned way of handling such a "crisis". It never worked out and understandably doesn't because even professional athletes are human beings and not robots.
No doubt that a club can expect them to be professional and to show a professional attitude. If they don't the club needs to address this behind the scenes, but shouldn't use a player as a scapegoat.
If players try and are simply exhausted there comes a point when even more pressure makes things only worse. To be honest, the current performances are probably already a result of too much pressure and too little understanding.
I feel for the players and Kellermann will have to realize that it doesn't work. Completely defending the coach, but blaming the players is neither a smart nor a fair strategy.
Here's the article:
Nach der Niederlage im Topspiel beim FC Bayern München herrschte bei den VfL-Frauen viel Frust. Das 1:2 täuschte über den deutlichen Leistun

Did you see this? Didn’t expect a statement from him, but great to see him supporting his players so publicly.
Wow, no I didn't see this. But it's great he is so clear about this and voices his support publicly! 👏🏼👏🏼👍🏻
I think I wrote about it before, but when I heard Alex Popp talking about him on "NDR Das!" when being asked about the Rubiales case and how she pointed out that she is sure Stroot wouldn't even do a rather harmless supportive butt slap (in Popp's words) because he respects his players so much? I knew he's a decent guy.
