"Let's get married!"
A fountain, or maybe a stream more like a sprinkler, of water flew from my mouth at the particularly baseless question. Marriage? I didn't even know this girl's name, and she wanted my hand in marriage? I pounded on my chest to clear the water from the throat, and wiped my lips with my sleeve. "Wait a minute. Have your parents ever told you you go too fast? I haven't even met them. If we get married, they'd charge me for kidnapping." I placed down my water bottle on the table, and checked my back pocket. I had cut out a coupon from a cereal box recently, and forgot I had it until this morning. I took it with me to use it on one of my friends, but it just so happened to have a better use now. I got down on one knee, and held out my left hand, which she placed her right in, palm facing up. "Kunagisa Tomo, if that's really your name. I'd be so very honoured if you...." From my pocket, a folded piece of cardboard was withdrawn, ink printed on the inside saying '2 for 1 Movie Ticket'. I placed it in her upturned hand as if revealing a magic trick's finale. "Go on a date with me?"
