Tomodachi Update: The Revenge
I had to fix the recent makeovers for Broseph and Zombro immediately; my restyles did not flatter them. This is much better.
Broseph tried on bangs and twin puffs on his own, but it wasn't working for him. Death is also planning a hairstyle, which should be interesting seeing as he is a bald skull.
I cleared out several Miis who weren't exciting me or getting any attention so I could add some in. I get more invested in original characters in this game. I aged up Buttered Popcorn to have fewer kids around and more potential romance scenarios, and added a few more food Miis--Peppermint, Lemon Ada, and Broccoleah--all adults.
I also restyled Draculaura, Haunt, Minifig, and Frankie Stein. Using white cheek blush for glowing eyes made Haunt look more spooky, and I like them with this more dramatic ghostly look. I prefer Minifig in the retro style, but he can wear a modern face design for a while, and this modern look can give him more hair options that look appropriate. The new Mii is Sloppy, who is literal trash.
I did restyle G3 Frankie to try it out, but they were one of the Miis I had move away due to not getting anything out of them. The Venuses also left. I adore G3 Frankie as a character, but as a Mii, they were part of the bloat of Miis I made which I wasn't connecting to in this game. Maybe you can take inspiration and bring them to a more fulfilling life on your island?
I can also see myself cutting some of the LDD Miis if I need to make space again for more original characters.
I really don't know what's up with Broseph and Dracula's marriage. Broseph consistently falls into "not getting along" status. I don't know if this will take a turn. I could redesign Broseph as if Dracula has turned him as a way to invent some drama and narrative, like maybe it was Drac's attempt to stay together only for it to drive them apart and create a weird immortal exes dynamic. Not sure. Could be an interesting plot to invent. Or else, if Broseph's love strengthens again, maybe then Broseph commits to turning and if he falls out of love again after, it's a whole thing.
Lots of crushes, too few relationships and marriages. Dixon asked to move out of the house he shares with his sweetheart Diva, and because he's a mess, I let him. Don't know how that will affect his relationship with Diva.
I've added other Miis. There's the anomaly (all lowercase), a faceless Mii from another plane, and who's barely intelligible (they seem to be getting along well and Peppermint is crushing on them). There's Sir Realism, an artsy bizarre Mii. Mr. Fantasy is a romance love interest stereotype--the fun is seeing who lands him, as he is set compatible with anyone who likes men. Troll doll Trollo crushed on him and almost immediately confessed and got rejected after refusing to heed my advice to become friends first. Last is Count Orlok. He looks like Max Schreck, but his voice is heavily based on Bill Skarsgård's version.
