Tomosei (Tomoko × Tensei) 8, 18, 19 (and 20 just if you want. If not, okay)

8. Nicknames? & if so, how did they originate?

Tensei: Wheels; for obvious reasons. Tomoko: Cheshire cat; because she always tries to smile, and she felt invisible with the loss of her quirk.  The got them during group therapy sessions.  There was some concern with the self deprecation, but they both felt it was necessary in order to take control of their lives.  They would take their weakness and turn it into a strength.

18. Who leaves little notes in the other’s one lunch? (Bonus: what does it usually say?)

Tomoko will leave notes for Tensei.  They are always some kind of cat pun. Tensei’s favorite was “Nya-ori bento, you gotta be kitten me.  I made you a tuna fish sandwich instead...mmm tuna.” With a drooling cat drawn on the side.

19. Who tells their family/friends about their relationship first?

Tomoko told Mandalay first.  She couldn’t help it.  She had just been so over the moon after their first official date; it just slipped out.

20. What do their family/friends think of their relationship?

They all are very supportive of the relationship.  It was clear to everyone from the get go that they were both supporting each other, and dragging the other out of their misery.  All though Pixie Bob is vocally jealous that Tomoko of all the Pussycats found a guy first.

Tomosei (Tomoko × Tensei) 1, 4, 24 Please.

1. They are a very affectionate couple but Tomoko is that absolute queen of cuddles and nose kisses. She will milk the cat thing as much as she can, even after being rendered quirkless and unable to continue in costume.

4. Bike rides. Kind of hard for Tensei after the whole thing with Stain. Before that, he preferred running. However he will roll right along Tomoko while she rides her bike, which he has modified to be as cat-themed as possible. "A bit childish for a woman in her 30's, huh Go no-Chan."

"Don't be so pawful to me, Tensei. It's not that amewsing." She'll pout. But honestly just riding through the park together keeps them young well into old age.

24. They take turns. Tomoko will do it often enough but Tense is a real scamp himself, especially when she is sitting on his lap.

"You know I still have so e feeling left. Want to see how much?"

She’d stayed up too late watching the news. Some program about the rise in villains with no fear now that the symbol of peace wasn’t around. About the destruction caused by a member of the Yakuza. How Sir Nighteye was in critical condition and Eraserhead, her kouhai and one of Tensei’s best friends, had been involved again. Those students – 

His hand tapped her shoulder, making her jump before she pulled the blanket that was wrapped around her tighter to herself. Yellow eyes sad as she continued to focus on the program, her fingers clenching and unclenching over and over again. Unsure what Tensei was expecting her to do as he rolled closer to the couch, taking her hand in his for a moment before she pulled her own away.

You should be in bed. She signed, slowly, her bangs falling to cover tear filled eyes. She’d been crying for a while now. Feeling so useless. Panicking when she’d heard that those same villains who’d done – god knows what – to her had been spotted again. Involved in the incident on the news. Her body both shutting down and going into overdrive for what felt like an eternity only to just be coming down now when Tensei reached to lift her face. His thumb brushing against her cheek, wiping away a tear. 

❝ You, my dear kitten, should also be in bed. ❞ Tensei spoke, his voice soft as his other hand moved to push her hair behind her ear, holding her face between both of his. 

Her head shook as best as it could in his hold, his thumbs sliding over her cheek bones to try and calm her as her breathing hitched, tears coming faster now as her habds moved to form words faster than she could think about them. How – how are we supposed to sleep when our friends are out there being attacked by those – that – that league. Those villains who hurt those kids who hurt Shouta-chan who hurt – who hurt me?

❝ Because … ❞ Her silent panic was stopped abruptly by the kiss he pressed to her forehead. His voice strong despite all the sadness she could see reflected in his own eyes.

❝ We’re safe now. You’re safe now. ❞ The words whispered didn’t fix the problem. They didn’t stop her tears, but they were enough of a start to the path of feeling okay, if only for a few moments, as he pulled her into his lap and held her tight. Those words on a continuous loop in her head as she spilt the last of her tears into his pajama shirt. 

We’re safe now. You’re safe now.

She’d have to take his word for it. After all, her fiancé still had the heart of a hero, at the end of the day. He wouldn’t say that to her if it wasn’t true.
