Hello!!! It’s me, Tonik! As in… the tonik from ao3… the one who tried doing some analysis on your work titled “Under Any Circumstances”!

Sooooo.. I’ve finally found you! Checking on ao3 everyday isn’t the most effective way… and because the author’s notes gave a tumblr account that you seemingly don’t use anymore, i lost hope for a bit… </3

But!! Today tumblr algorithm has gifted me some older post you made about this fic when i was casually scrolling, bored!! Aaandd… Ta Dah! I found this account! I’m so happy rn!

So.. I dunno if you’re continuing it or something, and, god/universe/whatever forbid, you shouldn’t push yourself if you’re not!

I gotta say just a few things, mostly about my pure appreciation for this work. (you see, i have no one to talk about this with. it’s just me, myself, my thoughts, my dog and the random mirror in my room that makes me look like i’ve already gone mad)

Well… first, I’m still researching! I’ve found a disorder that could have been the one, but it still didn’t fully fit. Hence, i shall not stop until i find the right one!

I believe this work has changed me. Living as a being that despises plot holes and is physically and mentally unable to handle lack of sense in character behaviors etc. kinda sucks… like, i can’t even read a book till the end when i find something that is not right at all, i lose interest in a movie when it doesn’t make sense, i can spend countless hours in the night or day trying to find a fic that appeals to my petty picky brain. And you see, yours was so… well thought of! it absolutely captured me, that’s truly an amazing feeling. i think it was the best fanfiction i laid my eyes at, end even if it’s bound to have only one chapter, two, or it’s going to be updated months, years after i will aprecciate all that is. i just know that it’ll live in my head rent free forever

BUT! i am continuing it! im writing down ideas for more late game stuff (stuff after the end of season 53.... there's MORE after that?!) and plotting stuff and all that great shit, but im real busy with whump month and after that i think i might take a bit of a break haha!!!!

and aaah im so hyped you think about this fic SO MUCH?? i'm pretty picky too and ive had those fics i just LATCH ONTO and im so happy that im that for you!

i really hope you gel with the dx; rantaro's been kind of reserved so far in how he acts and how he thinks so there's not much to go off of, but in chapter 2 the things he does with kokichi, and the reactions he has-- and how used to situations he finds himself in-- are gonna be some choice indicators

but god this whole message was very very sweet :) ive gotten like zero comments on my whump month fics so this has been SO SWEET TO SEE it made my whole day!! (and if u like byakuya, under any circumstances is my usual quality vis a vis writing.... juuust sayin~)
