'Course, no one ever is. Thing is, it ain't Elijah's time and both he and Irene know it. He's just been touting around a ghost for the past few days that Irene was supposed to take home to heaven, or hell, or wherever. Elijah didn't know the specifics. He only aimed to help souls with their unfinished business, no matter what that meant for them in the true and final end.

He flashes her a cocky smile, though, 'cause he can see what he's looking at plain as day. Hands go to his pockets. "y'just missed him." Meaning, the ghost who'd been riding alongside him until just about an hour ago.

Of course somebody had found Mellie sitting inside of her latest 'masterpiece' and she was grateful that it was Johnnie. Green eyes shifted upwards with a bright grin aimed in his direction--one of which was glad. Only two people could enter and ask permission to enter her beloved pillow fort.

The other was her twin.

Since there was indeed another bit of space in the shape of a human being, she motioned for him. Along with a nod. "You know me too well, my friend. 'Course there is!" A slight pause as she waited, leaning back a bit against the blanket wall of the enclosure. "You have seen Mel lately? I figure he'd be with you, which I know is normal 'or you both."
