You sat at the bar, Volt to your left and Tony to the right with Eddie in front of you, making drinks. The bar was empty, technically closed but Volt made an exception for you, and Tony decided to tag along. Eddie slid a drink in front of you, you had already had a couple that loosened you up.

"Y'know, when I was a baby toolbox, my mama Toni forgot me in the car."

Tony said, sipping his beer as he told his 'woeful' story or childhood. Eddie gave him a look as he cleaned a glass with a rag.

"For how long?"

Tony's cheeks reddened slightly as he shrugged, fumbling with an exact number.

"Well, uh, y'know, like, a while. I mean, it felt like forever!"

Eddie furrowed his eyebrows, shaking his head with a slight chuckle. Volt could help but chuckle either, his arm snaking around your waist.

"I'm sure it was, Tony, darling."

Volt hummed before taking a sip of his wine. Tony's rolled his eyes scoffing.

"Whatever, it was traumatic alright? Doesn't matter how long, she forgot me was the point."

"Tony, I'm pretty sure everyone in here has gone through more shit than you, getting forgotten for 20 minutes in a car is not a big deal."

Eddie responded as he put the glass he was cleaning away. Tony huffed, a challenge grin on his face as he finished his beer.

"Yeah? You two have the whole splitting apart thing, sure, but what about you?"

Tony question, eyes falling on you.

He didn't mean to make you uncomfortable but your skin crawled at how everyone got quiet, all eyes on you for your answer. Maybe if you weren't tipsy, you would have changed the topic or tried to lighten the mood but you didn't. The words began falling as the hazy memory played in your head.

"Uh, well, when I was a kid, I had this family member,"

You said, eyes staring at the condensation on the outside of your drink. It reminded you of hot summer days when you were little.

"He was close to us. I mean, I grew up with him around."

Eddie frowned, seeing how your eyes darkened as you recalled the memories. He wanted to say something, that you didn't have to tell them this if you weren't comfortable, but couldn't bring himself to interrupt you.

"I... I remember this one day, he asked me to coming with him. I don't really remember what for but I remember he took me to a guest room. My parent were downstairs so they couldn't hear us. He told me he wanted to show me something. He started to take his belt off and told me to take my pants off but before I could, my parents started coming up the stairs."

Volt and Tony's faces twisted as the stared at you. Eddie's frown deepened but he knew what was coming from the start.

"He put his belt back on and told me to leave. I... I never told anyone about what happened and he never really talked to me after that."

You looked up, frowning at everyone's expression.

"I, uh, sorry.. kinda killed the mood."

You tried to chuckle but tears caught in your throat. You didn't even feel them coming as they started rolling down your cheeks.

"Oh, livewire..."

Volt pulled you into his chest, hugging you tightly.

"You're safe, my love."

You nodded, pulling away as you wiped away tears. You felt stupid, like you were that innocent little kid again following him into that guest room.

"I know, nothing even happened I'm just being dramatic."

You murmured. Tony scoffed, cupping your face with his rough hands.

"Nothing happened? You were almost fucking assaulted, that ain't nothing."

Tony said, sounding offended you would even say something like that. Eddie wasn't much different as he leaned over the bar to be closer to you.

"You were a kid, you were supposed to trust him and took advantage of that. That makes him a fucking weirdo, not you."

You swallowed as Eddie stared deep into your eyes. It was the first time you'd told anyone about that and it was hard but Eddie, Volt, and Tony made it a little less harder. Tony's hand slipped down to yours squeezing softly as Volt rested his head on your shoulder.

"You don't have to deal with this by yourself, livewire, doesn't matter how long ago it was."

Volt said softly, accent like velvet. You nodded. For once, you felt seen, you felt heard, you felt loved.
