Unexpected Drop [closed starter]

Weyoun walked along the corridors of Deep Space Nine at a brisk pace, well aware of the people following him at a distance. He heard their footsteps matching his, and he knew they surely didn’t have good intentions. He expected to be caught if he couldn’t reach his quarters, but what he didn’t expect was for the floor to suddenly drop from underneath him, causing his heart to plummet into his stomach.
His surroundings changed so quickly it almost made him sick, and a fresh breeze hit him in the face. His back hit a hard floor shortly after with a loud thump, knocking the breath out of him. This was certainly unexpected. The Vorta took a moment to catch his breath, violet eyes darting around as he took stock of his new environment.
The grey ceiling he was familiar with was gone completely, a blue sky above him with clouds here and there. The floor felt warm, likely from the sunlight beaming down. Pushing himself up to a sitting position, Weyoun turned his head left and right, seeing the tops of buildings all around. It seemed like he had landed on top of a skyscraper, a 21st century design.
Wait... 21st century? Weyoun’s eyes widened, heart thumping like a rabbit’s as he realized what might have just happened. This wasn’t good. This wasn’t good in the slightest.
