I’m too committed to the bit or goal @fr0ggz can confirm we were in a discord call and I started alphabetically naming Pokemon because someone told me too I got to charmander and got told to stop (I wasn’t doing mons up to Galar cause I was thinking of pokérapping all of them in alphabetical order cause after the first 800ish it probably get stale)

Anyways back to slaving away on the cookie game gambling and getting shafted

It is very possible to become too ambitious, too in love; too committed to something.

When I was a teenager, I loved many things that were “nerdy.”  Pokemon, anime, Japanese music, etc.  My parents couldn’t stand that I enjoyed these things.  I thought it was because they were narrow-minded, but recently I was able to see that they weren’t the only ones at fault.

I have a hyper-fixation problem.  When I become attached to something, it becomes the only thing I can focus on.  When there is something I want or something I enjoy, I can’t just enjoy it like a normal fucking person.  It has to be everything that I do, everything that I say, everything that I think.  It’s really no wonder that people around me eventually begin to feel irritated by my hobbies and by the things that I enjoy.  I’m the one that sours it for them.  

To a certain extent, I have realized that I still have this problem.  I need to learn to recognize when I start to hyper-fixate.  It’s not pleasant at all when things that are supposed to just be casual hobbies, end up getting in the way of my work and home life and my relationships with other people.

Something else to add to the ever growing list of problems that I have, that I need to work on.  How did I become this much of a complete and utter pile of garbage??
