i sometimes see famous people's kids (like, started for a literal baby!) have instas and like...yikes. like imagine having your whole childhood not only documented, but also projected at thousands of people who you dont know. to end on a better not ive noticed that one of the female athelets i follow who is a mother makes sure not to post pics with her kids faces which might be on the extreme end, but a good approach. strangers dont need to know what her kids look like!

i agree. and i’m not like , that person who things that teens shouldn’t be on social media point blank, but i wish there was someone who’s job it is to tell young actors like, idk, literally just put their social media on private. but i know it’s all about ‘brand building’ and they Need to have a public page, but that’s.....gross to put on children. children don’t need a brand and don’t need 12m followers and they sure as hell don’t need strangers leaving comments because nobody has the self-awareness to step outside themselves and realise that being a grown adult and commenting on a 14 year old stranger’s instragram, even if that 14 year old stranger is milllie bobby brown, is super fucking weird.

anyway, i will always remember the time that i found out that kate moss had a daughter bc, kate moss was in the gossip mags every single week since the dawn of kate moss being a public person (and like, i spent a lot of time in waiting rooms, so i’ve read a lot of these) because i was so pleasantly surprised/shocked that one of the most consistently pap’d women in the UK was perfectly able to keep her daughter, for the most part, out of the public eye.
